I'm from Gillespie County, Texas, as is my wonderful German family. I started on my FindAGrave adventure honoring my family. I've since added my husband's family. I enjoy fulfilling photo requests as time allows.|

Mary McGonagill Earwood’s grave lies just outside the iron fenced enclosure and beside that of her husband E.A. Earwood.
just send you a message... THANK YOU SOOOOOOO Very much!!! Happy St. Patricks Day :)
Regina, I have no idea...but I can call the office e and try to get you an exact location of the grave. The lady who was causing unnecessary drama user name was Sherlock cousin? Anyways, it's really not that big of a deal but she was telling me her photo was copyrighted. I will definitely make sure you get credit. I promise! I most definitely understand the time it takes to photography cemeteries. Very grateful. I can tell you the whole story if you want...I never replied back to her. She kept sending me nasty emails. Lindsay
hi, I don't know if you would do this... but I have a great aunt buried in the Masonic Cemetery there in Del rio named Calista Lee Sessoms. I was wondering if maybe you could take a picture of her grave and email it to me for my family research. Anoth lady has posted a picture of the grave but will not let me use the picture. I would drive down myself...in fact I might do that ...but I don't know who else to ask. This lady wrote nasty comments all over the memorial...werid. Anyways, if you happen to be that way that would be so nice. Thank you so much! Lindsay email@example.com

I'm sorry, I do not know her story, but now, reading the inscription, I would like to know.
I lived in Del Rio years ago, working in the Qualia's 'Butcher Boy' grocery store near the old downtown. I lived near there, walking to work along streets lined with pecan trees, and being very surprised that Texas has such freezing cold winters. I met lots of people at the store, and enjoyed talking to the ranch wives and manly men. Those were the days. I will never forget the first time someone put a pig's head on my check-out counter! I had never seen that before and was pretty startled by those cloudy pig eyes staring back at me through the saran wrap. Oh, my.
I have since tried to remember some names from those days and that naturally led me to the local cemeteries. Kind of a want to know, but don't want to find out situation. I thought Shirley's name sounded familiar, and was hoping for a clue if she had a headstone.
I swore at the time that I hated living there, but I would sure love to see it all again.
Lucky you, living away from big cities that I can't wait to escape from. Maybe I'll move back to Texas!
