Bio Photo *** Any nasty or disrepectful comments or emails I receive will not be responded to. This site is primarily dedicated to having a small memorial and helping people find loved ones. It's a genealogy AID. If you're like me you have run into those that have lost site of honoring the lost loved ones and are just on here to "beef up a number." ***

*** I am not interesting in dealing with members on here that have nothing better to do with their time than to be the "find a grave police." If you don't like how I have my memorials managed or formatted, please keep it to yourself. ***

I have been heavily researching my family history for many years. This site as well as my own genealogy site has allowed me to "meet" a lot of new relatives and cousins along the way. I can't thank everyone enough for passing down so many stories and information over the generations.

All of the memorials I own here are my family however, if any of them are for a grandparent of yours (and they are not one of mine) then I would be happy to transfer. Please ask. Also, If you wish to use any grave photos I have posted for your family tree or your own website feel free. Those out there that claim grave photos they post here are copyrighted and threaten to take legal action have way too much time on their hands. It's not art, folks, it's a gravestone photo!

When I find the time, I take photo's for others as a way to thank those that have been kind enough to have taken them for me.

If you are related, let me know and feel free to register and see more on my family here!

P.S. Negative comments left on my personal family tree web site (linked to above) by people that think they are sending it in secret will be reported to the admins. Your IP addresses are saved when you submit them. You and I know who you are!

>>>I have decided to remove all of the photos of the people in my family. If you are wanting copies of the Smith or Rice family photos, please drop me a line or join my personal site.>>>

The photo you have posted under the name William T. Gibbs is awesome! Where did you get that photo?

He is my great great grand father! I had no idea a photo existed.

Thanks in advance for posting.

RE: Chapel of the Pines

If you read any of my postings to the people that have requested help, you will see all that I know. I am no longer doing genealogy work. From the best of my memory, I think I gave addresses nd phone numbers and names of what I was able to come up with. I can tell you this and that is that the cemetery is owned by a Korean firm and they also have a mortuary some place near. There is not always someone on the property, but much of it is open, but not necessarily all of it. The people will be very polite to you, but I did not find them very helpful. I know they are only willing to talk with family, and I do not know how far back in linage that means. If it is immediate family or what. They bought the cemetery some time back, and it was in quite disrepair, and still is, but they are making improvements. From what I am told many of the placement records were not properly cared for, and they may not be able to be of assistance even it they are willing to look for you.
Good luck

RE: Charles PArks
In normal times, I would be happy to take the photo, but there are medical issues I'm dealing with at present, which make it a bit difficult for me to navigate. I can make no promises as to when I could go to Eastern to do so.

RE: Clela Balzano
Hello Smith. Perhaps you can call the Knollwood Cemetery office and request the location of the plot you wish to have photographed. If it is an unmarked grave, how is anyone to know it is the grave you want photographed?
Knollwood Cemetery office 440-442-2800. They are all extremely helpful.

Joseph Bearse
I would love to learn more about Joseph Bearse and where the information for his Burial and Birth and death were found! Find A Grave Memorial# 67495272 Do you have additional records? Was this previous knowledge known? Thanks so much! Just trying to fill in the holes with the sources! Have a great day! Sarah Stout!

RE: #15211318 and #15211013
Hi Andrew,
I posted the photo to the 1798 Joseph page. Seems that the stone was in bad shape by the time they did the Hale Index in 1935. It says "Church, Joseph, died Aug. 1770, age 26 yrs? Stone broken and laying on ground." If it wasn't for the index, we wouldn't have known what position his grave is in the cemetery, so still useful even if they guessed some info wrong. Happy to help with your ancestor!

#15211318 and #15211013

I think maybe these are the same Joseph Church, with #15211318 having the correct info. I posted a photo for #15211013 but there was only the bottom of the stone left. In the 1860's Mr. Parker wrote inscriptions of the stones and he found only one Joseph Church in Second Cemetery. The inscription reads "Sacred to the memory of Mr. Joseph Church who Departed this Life Jany 26th AD 1798 In ye 72nd year of his Age." If you decide that #15211318 is the only one, I'll post my photo on that one.
