I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.|
I been adding internment photos and other information for the Canadian Forces Military Cemetery in Ottawa, located at Beechwood Cemetery. Unfortunately it seems like I always need to add new photos.
I often spend weekends visiting various cemeteries in this part of Ontario, taking pictures and enjoying the history.

Thank you so much for including Bill (my nan's first husband). I doubt there will be many/any who remember him so I hope you don't mind but I have added a photo. It's not brilliant - will try and get a better one. At least it brings it to life a little bit.
Again thank you for you hard work and dedication making sure people are remembered.

Thank you for the photo, memorial #8868344. Would be grateful if you would add to his wife, Lilias 140900159.
His daughter, son and daughter-in-law are also on the stone and need memorials, if you would like to add. Thanks for your help!

Just in case you haven't noticed, the Canadian (and other foreign) memorial pages now have the Request a Photo button. If you are interested in registering as a Photo Volunteer, you can do it by editing your profile. You can also browse Cemetery page for any outstanding requests. This is a new feature so will take some time to be fully operational – see this thread in the Help Forum.
Thanks again for your help.

Thank You and God Bless you. What a nice thing to do. I just found my Great Uncle Everett Richardson!!!
|LucyB||Thank You so much|
Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to add Raymond Cundy's details to the website.
We have a very small family and so Raymond's ultimate sacrifice made a massive impact on this family. My Mum is chuffed to bits to have found out this information about her cousin. Just wondered, how did you find the information, particularly his date of death - as we thought he was lost in action? Am doing some family tree research and would be really useful. Thank you so much again. Lucy and Family

I would like to try and find my cousin in Ontario and write him or email him - whatever contact i can find for him if any.. His mother is one of my grave photos i would hope for.. Do you have a photo directory for Ontario that you know of online that i could use? if so please send me the link. I am looking for James Stewart MacCracken. he was born about 1947 . Thanks for your time. If you dont know of one i will just continue to look.

Hi Mike, I really and happy for your offer. I will try to get locations but so far i have one phone call and 3 emails to and from Beechwood and they cant even seem to find anyone i mentioned - including the Andrew Porter and Nelson Porter.. Andrew is my fathers great grandpa. I live in Calif and it seemed hopeless asking anything of Beechwood but now i will give it one more try to find locations - i am sure they are all buried there.
