My main interest is to locate, record and photograph gravestones of my lineage as well as historical graves and comb graves. I also locate document and photograph prehistoric burial sites, when possible. |
Non-evasive Gravestone Conservation Photography is practiced during my visits so as to not discolor or damage the stone. Please do not ask that any type chemical product, flour, shaving cream, etc be placed on the stones for photos.
Please do specify your relationship when requesting transfers. Transfer requests should be for your direct relatives. If, by chance, the request concerns my direct relative it is very unlikely I will make the transfer.
I am a human being, if you think I have made a transcription mistake, please do let me know, in a nice humanly way. I respond very well to nice. :D
As time permits, I also try to photograph grave markers for others, so just place a request in the cemetery and when I check-in on Find A Grave I will try to help you out. (c) ASK PERMISSION TO USE MY PHOTOS.
Wish List: Restroom Facilities in Tourist Cemeteries.

Please remove the tombstone photo you posted on Bertha Twomey Cummins' memorial. I have one posted on it and prefer it since it doesn't have the memorial flowers on it. There is no need for two. Thank you. Also could you delete your duplicate memorial for Albert Starnes Cummins. Thank you.
|Robert Van Alstine ||Tomb Stone of Ebenezer Dorr IV|
My name is Bob Van Alstine. I am authoring a book entitled The Dorr Family in the Shaping of America. I would like to use the photo of Ebenezer Dorr IV's tomb stone you have posted on Find A Grave in my book. I would like to obtain your permission to do this.
I look forward to hearing from you in this regard.
|Janet Mackey-Bodine||# 113510733 Albert Stuteville|
Your biography mentioned that you do post many of your family gravesites and I just wanted to check if perhaps Albert Stuteville # 113510733 might possibly be part of your family lines. Without additional information, I cannot be certain as to this identification, but I believe this was a man from Spencer County, IN, who was born 9 Feb 1943. If this might possibly be part of your family lines, I would be delighted to share some additional information, if you might have any additional interest. I believe the infant Stuteville # 113510818 was most likely his child by Harriet "Hattie" E. Armstrong - they were married 8 Oct 1864 in Coffee County, TN.

|Stacey Connella||Duplicate memorials|
Greatly appreciate all your hard work, truly, but I've noticed that you've created multiple duplicate memorials in the Blair-Love cemetery: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GScid=14877&CRid=14877&pt=Blair-Love%20Cemetery&
It would terrific if you could please delete your dupes, or transfer them to me for cleanup (this is my family's cemetery, I'm related to pretty much everyone buried there, other than the Blairs).
Thanks so much.

First of all I'd like to say I love your wish list!!
Secondly, thanks for adding the wonderful images at this website.
Would you mind if I kept a copy for my files with you credited as the source of the grave photo for
Elizabeth Frances Tune Steele & husband that you submitted at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=pv&GRid=61003966&PIpi=64464581
It would be most appreciated,

|Patrick M.||RW Lieut. Wm. McGuire Grave|
Are you the one who took the Find-a-Grave photo of RW Lieut. Wm. McGuire's gravestone in the Horsemountain Cemetery near Shelbyville? The photo caption says "Added by Iroebuck 8/18/2012". If so, can you tell me the date this photo was taken? And may I have your permission to use this photo in an article I am writing for possible publication? Thank you.

|Howard Schramm, Jr.||Turner Boyce Schramm your #93718425|
Thank you so much for locating and photographing my uncle Turner's marker.
Several years ago I spent some time trying to find it, but couldn't, even with the help of a local person that knew where the graves are. They thought the stone had been lost.
My number for Turner is #66166127.
Do you, by any chance, have a GPS reference for the grave?
Since there are now two memorials for him, it would seem like they need to be merged. I have more info that I need to post. If you don't want to do this, would you post your picture on my memorial. I have never attempted merger before.
Does the description on my memorial match where you found the grave?
Thank you again,
Howard Schramm, Jr.

Re: Robert Clark/Pratt Carlton Cemetery
Would it be possible to transfer Robert Clark to me? He is my great grandfather x3 and I am trying to link all of my family memorials.
