My name is Dee and I've lived mostly in the beautiful historical Hilltowns of Western Massachusetts. I have been a photographer since age of 8yrs. Now I am retired(haha)and still doing freelance photography. I am the past founder of the Historical Commission for a small town nearby and I've worked for several local Historical Societies doing photo preservation work; I specialized in glass plate negatives. Can you tell I love history. There are many "very" rural cemeteries here in Franklin County. My goal along with several other FAG volunteers is to produce a complete inventory of cemeteries with photographs for the towns of Shelburne, Buckland, Hawley, Colrain, Conway, Charlemont, Ashfield, Heath and Florida MA.|
I will be happy to Transfer a memorial to you; please request it via Edit/Request Transfer. The majority of the memorials I have posted are done with the hope that the family will find them and continue to add/correct information. My photographs are copyrighted but may be used on your ancestry site with permission. Please send me an email stating how you will use them. Thanks!

If you would not mind me using your cemetery pictures and pictures of the headstones of Eunice Tucker and John Brown Simpson for my Wellman Family Tree on Ancestry.com, I would appreciate it. Please let me know.

I am a Vermont Civil War buff, and presently working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old soldiers" that had ties to Vt. May I use the photo that you contributed to the Memorial page for Philo Stratton, to post on the Vt. C.W. site? (www.vermontcivilwar.org)
You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration/

You're welcome. They are really backed up with getting gravestones set. You may want to repost your request this fall. Maybe by then they'll have a stone.

Thanks for posting the photo of his stone!

Wow that was quick! Thanks so much, Dee! And thanks for the transfer offers but I believe those 2 were created by 2 other people.

Hi Dee! I just discovered that the headstone photo you've attached to Memorial # 68148966 is for the wrong Dorcas Fisk. This memorial is for a Dorcas Fisk who died at 1 year old. Instead, the photo should be attached to Memorial # 42758091 for Dorcas (Tyler) Fisk, who was the wife of Ebenezer Fisk and who died 18 Jun 1807. This info matches what's engraved on the headstone. If you would kindly let me know whenever you attach it to the correct memorial and then remove it from the wrong one, I'll then be able to submit a photo request for little Dorcas ... that would be so great. I've got both of them in my family tree :)
