Bio and Links
Bio Photo I discovered Find A Grave while searching for the grave of my grandfather's brother. This simple little search sent me on a mission to search for my ancestors and get some of my family history on Find A Grave. Once I got hooked on genealogy, I decided I could help others by adding names to the site so that sent me onto my new "hobby" - photographing graves, and now I am totally addicted. I hope my work on Find A Grave will help others in their search or allow them to "visit" a loved one's grave.

I'm not one of those people who think they give a prize for managing the most memorials. If you have any connection to someone that I have created a memorial for, I will gladly transfer it, as long as they are not in my tree.

The Bismarck Tribune did a very nice article on my cemetery project a while back. Click Here to view the article.

I have set up a Tribalpages family tree. Click on the link below to view it.

If I have taken a photograph of your ancestor's tombstone and it is of poor quality (shadows/overgrown with grass/hard to read/etc), please let me know and I will see what I can do about taking a better one. It is hard to take good photographs of all the markers when I am at a cemetery as the angle of the sun is often poor the stones don't photograph well.

If I have helped you in your search, please return the favor and "pay it forward" and do your part to help out someone else.

Ben W. and Bernice Bennett
Would it be possible to transfer Ben W. Bennett # 47018095 and his Daughter Bernice Bennett # 47018160 to me. This was my Grandmother Addie's family and I would like to take care of them. I am so grateful that you found their graves, I have searched for years. I did not ask before when you gave me the information because I was new to Find a Grave. My idea #47835863 thank you
again, Patty Throesch

RE: Re: Amy Melvin's husband
Thank you so much for the information, Brian. The mystery continues. I have been researching my Melvin family for a long time and am just now finding bits and pieces about them; mostly in the Dakotas. Sad that George and Amy died on the same day. They had an 11 year old son and he lived with my great grandmother after the death of his parents. I have one picture of him with my dad, which I treasure. Thanks, again, Brian, I truly appreciate your help!

Elsie Violet Fandrich Saville
Thank You for adding the grave pictures of my mother-in-law Elsie Violet Fandrich Saville to her Find A Grave memorial on June 7.

She and I grew very close during the last six years of her life. Her ashes were placed into the niche shown in your photographs today, Sunday, July 13, 2014. Unfortunately I was not able to attend the ceremony, so your photos especially appreciated.
