I've been at this genealogy thing for a quarter of a century, started working on my collateral lines here lately. I'm retired, a mother and grandmother, very active with the Patriot Guard Riders, and support our troops. I am also the coordinator for the Wreaths Across America Event which happens each year the middle of December in honor of our fallen heroes that are buried at East Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery and Knoxville National Cemetery. If you are interested in how to become a supporter of this event, please contact me. I am also a strong member of The Shiloh Riders Association and the East Tennessee Toy Run.|
Have digital camera will travel within the boundaries of this area to take photos of graves if requested.

Do you want me to transfer your Grandmother to you? You may want to add to the memorial.

Would you mind removing the burial record info? I don't want those records on there since it is so simple to go to springgrove.org.
|Ronald Baxter||SANDRA JEAN (BRUMBAUGH) ANDERSON|
Thank you for the info I have it all on my memorial for SANDRA JEAN (BRUMBAUGH) ANDERSON.
Again thank you.
PS, regarding the Duncan Cemetery memorial by "Oklahoma Grave Walkers", it's not an organization, it's just one person. They'll transfer if you ask.

True, the suggest a correction does provide the link but just for that one memorial. But for example if in that same S.A.C. request you also want to add a family link to that person's parents or spouse, the person you're asking to do this needs to know the Find A Grave number for each link. If they have that, it's a simple 10 second copy and past. You get your request satisfied and their time is not wasted.
What you don't want, is to provide just the names of the parent and where they're buried. Then the person that you're asking the favor of has to do a cemetery look-up search AND then search for each parent just to get each one's Find A Grave number, so they can then add the links to the original request. Big time waster for them.
Nobody's going to do all that besides, the person you're contacting is usually not a relative of that person and therefore would not want to make an assumption that they (1.) found the correct cemetery, (2.) then found the correct parents when they searched that cemetery.
Some Find A Grave'ers get 50-100 email requests per day. Those folks are not going to spend any extra time running down info that should be provided in the original request. They just delete those emails and don't look back.
Sorry for the long reply, but I just wanted to give you the other perspective.
Have a great day!

I transferred both memorials to you and was very glad to do so. I think your Aunt would want you to manage her memorial.
If I might make a friendly suggestion to help make your future requests all be successes, please provide the memorial numbers for links to family members instead of just cemetery names and people names. Many Find A Grave'ers (especially the busy ones) will not go to the trouble to do a search just to add a family link when you could provide that info to them in your request. Again this is just a friendly suggestion so you will be successful in the future.
Have a great day.

Just looked at your other requests. I am not too far from Mulkeytown...and go to that cemetery when decorating for Memorial Day. I will have to make a quick trip over there to try to find your Bullock request there. I always take a list when decorating, but there are usually a lot of people in the cemetery at that time...and I like to search when a cemetery is empty. :)

ha ha... You are very welcome! :) She wasn't too hard to find, once I started looking. She's in the older section (obviously), and right up against a tree. Unfortunately, that probably means that at some point, the stone will topple over from the tree roots. But it's still good for now! :) She is also near other Bullock stones, so that's always nice, too.
My step-grandfather was actually from East TN. :) I think his family stayed mainly in and around Scott County. I haven't done much with his family, though. The ones I've looked for, already have pictures. :)
Have a great week!
