Genealogy enthusiast, searching lines of Robert Ross Stewart, my paternal grandfather, born in Rome Iowa in 1872 and Paternal grandmother Etta Mae Hines born in 1883 in Clarinda, Iowa. Also my maternal grandfather Ray Baker and grandmother Florence Buck. On the 'Baker' side this includes Nichols, Brown, Cheesman, and Fisler.

Also looking for biological father/family of partner Bev Lawrence - Frederick 'Fritz' McGinnis, from Dewitt Iowa, lived in Oregon, died 2001, buried in Clinton. Hoping to connect with his children/grand children.

Thanks so much for trying to get a photo for me in St. Joseph Cemetery, and I'm sorry for both of us that there was no marker. I suspect that Jacob may have been the son or grandson of John and Mary O'Rorke who are also buried in that cemetery and I was hoping that a marker would provide more information. Thanks for your effort!

RE: Photo request for Wymore Cemetery
I know there is a duplicate for Susanah J. Everhart and that there are 2 Wymore cemeteries listed. I asked the creator of the duplicate to add the info to the 1st one and then delete their memorial and she has never done it. I am in the process of having Find A Grave merge it and then delete the 2nd Wymore Cemetery. Thanks!!!!

Thanks a million for the great photo. THe young man who asked for this will be very happy to see this photo of his grandmother's grave. She died before he was born.

Transcription/translation photo
Thank you for posting the transcription/translation photo from the Andreas' wrought iron graves in the old Beatrice, Nebraska cemetery. These were my great-grandparents. It was tough to read the old iron marker, and I don't know who translated it, but thank you for posting the photo!

RE: Wm H Winans - Sacred Heart Cemetery
You may have gotten a partial message just now -- if not, here's the entire one.
Diania Rigby from Monticello and I are working on getting my Winans line as correct and up-to-date as possible. I thought you name sounded familiar and it's because she has emailed about it.
I've made a mental note each time I visit Margret's gravesite to get something done about her stone so would be glad to help a bit with a new one for all three. Would hope others would as well!
William Winan is the father-in-law of my Grandmother Katherine Marek Winans. She married William's son, Charles, after her 1st husband died and Grandpa Charlie (as we called him), was the only grandfather on my Mom's side I ever knew.

Wm H Winans - Sacred Heart Cemetery
Thank you for your confirmation that there is not stone somewhere else in the cemetery.
Oddly, I was just there last week and only saw Margret's stone, which is lose and needs fixing. It makes me wonder if I don't have a listing somewhere of all who are buried in that plot and if the stones, including William's, may have been stolen, vandalized or lost in a flood?
Kind Regards,
Jan Hoag
