Thanks everyone for any info or correcting me on mistakes I have made. Sometimes there is not much info to go on. Please keep helping me.

"NOTICE: When you leave me a message: Please tell me what cemetery you are talking about and the FAG # of the person you want me to add or change info on, because I have over 4500 names I have entered and I have NO idea what cemetery to start looking in. Also it would be much better if you used the edit to make changes. Thankyou"

I have read & indexed all of the Blue Hill Leader, 1892-Present; Bladen Enterprise 1892-1926; Lawrence Locomotive 1892-1925 and Red Cloud Chief 1874-1878. These newspapers are all in & around south central, Nebraska. I do lookups. If you find mistakes or corrections please contact me. I use Newspaper Obits, Cemetery records, Funeral Home Records, Church Records and Family for my sources.

I have been working on my family history for over 25 years. Names I am working with are: Baker, Robinson, Stethem, and Grooms.

RE: Picture

I usually put the name of the individual for whom I'm researching in the subject line. Who did I ask about again?

So sorry to bother you!

Thank you,

Bruce Laird
Dear Lois,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's WWI army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the History and Roster of the 355th Infantry, Bruce Laird was a member of this same unit.

I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with my project, but want to eventually publish something. Would it be permissible to use your photograph of the grave of Bruce Laird (Find A Grave Memorial# 55430140) should I eventually publish something?

Thank you,

With warm regards,

Bryan Anderson

Blue Hill Cemetery
Lois, thank you for photographing the cemetery. I appreciate the opportunity to see my grandparent's and uncle's final resting place. It is doubtful I will have the opportunity to return to NE to visit them again and your photos brought me great comfort. Thank you!

McClure Corrections
Hello! I noticed some inaccuracies with the family relationships for Thomas W. McClure (3/6/1851-2/14/1928) in the Blue Hill Cemetery in Nebraska. The information on his Find A Grave page lists Robert James McClure (1880 - 1967) and Laura Belle Burroughs McClure (1887-1962) as his parents, when, in fact they are Thomas' brother and sister-in-law. Maxine McClure Johnson (1910-1984) and Marjorie McClure VanBoening (1926-2014)are listed as Thomas' siblings, but they are really the daughters of Robert James McClure and Laura Belle Burroughs McClure. If you could please make these corrections, I can then look further for any other changes that may need to be made. Thanks for your help!

Hannah Current

Below is a copy of the information for Hannah Current. It confuses me, as it looks as if there was a 40 yr anniversary of an obit printed by the newspaper.

The confusing part is I thought I had found her in Indiana 30 years later.

Juel Marie YOST
Dear Mrs. Frahm,
Your diligent work with Find A Grave is much appreciated!
I am the great niece of Juel Marie YOST (#74352946) who is buried in the Plainview Cemetery located in rural Bladen, Webster County, Nebraska. My husband and I recently had a stone made to mark her burial and plan to set it in concrete once the weather permits this spring. I was wondering if you would be willing to transfer the management of her site to me. Thank you for the consideration.
