Please take a moment to leave a flower for Mom, Shannon Howard.|
I do my genealogy to honor my mother. She was very interested in our family history, both her own as well as my dad's side. She was always trying to peak my interest, to no avail. About a year after she passed away I was going through some of her papers and I was bitten by the bug.
My main interests are with the Kamery, Fahey, Howard, Hyde, Chrisman, Hill and John families of Nebraska, Missouri, Virginia and Olean/Hinsdale, New York. I have a special interest in Madison Square Cemetery in Loup County west of Taylor, Nebraska.
If you are interested in an original copy of any picture I've posted please contact me and I'll be happy to forward it to you.

Hello, I am Helen, niece to Karen. My mom was her sister, Patricia. Aunt Kay was preceded in death by her brother,Allen Hookham and sister, Kathleen Bacon and my mom, Patricia Boen. All four were full blooded relations. Mary was married to Joseph Hookham, divorced, then married to Floyd O'Dell. Floyd adopted Patricia and Karen. I live in Plainview Ne. Pl let me know what is going on w/ Karens remains.
I would like very much to have a copy of the photo of Pearl Howard and his parents. My great grandfather's first wife was Rebecca Jane McLaughlin, sister of Nancy McLaughlin. Jane died in Appanoose county near Mystic IA 1874 but no burial site found as of this time. Thank you very much for any help.

I believe my great grandmother is the Mrs. John Smith of LuVerne alluded to in Dietrich Stauffacher's obituary. Her name was Susie Stauffacher Smith and I believe she lived most of her life in and around LuVerne, Iowa, so I believe she and her husband, John W. Smith, must be buried in the LuVerne Cemetery. Is there anyway to can find out for me? I was named for her. Thank you, Susan Malloy

Wanted to say thanks for finding this one. He would have been my maternal grandfather's older brother (Ralph Ted Hiner). My mother has been helping me with this project and she had no idea about him. Can you tell me how you found him? Are you a relative?
You can reach me here as Kchara or my email is
K_chara@yahoo.com . Again, thanks for the new info.
