Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in the Pittsburgh area and have been working on my family history for over 40 years. This includes the eight families of both my wife and mine.
Thanks to advancing technology and a little more time in my life I am able to devote more energy to geneology and historical pursuits.
I am always willing to help and share knowledge with others of the same interests.

I just wanted to thank you for all you have done to help families!! I am fairly new to genealogy and have been researching my husband's line of ancestors. That is how I came across you! Thank you for taking photos of graves. In signing up on to message you, I have now signed up to volunteer to take photos in my area at cemeteries (I live in Washington state).

Your time and efforts are SO VERY appreciated!

Thank you!!

RE: John E. McNelis
You are quite welcome. Yes, I have noticed that date of birth info is incorrect on a lot of death certificates, and also incorrect on tombstones, too. A lot of the date of births I go by, if I can find them, is from the 5 volumes of "The Catholic Vital Records of Central Pennsylvania", written by Fr. Albert H. Ledoux. He is also a member of Find-A-Grave. I've talked to him quite a bit in both emails and by phone. And yes, I am a member of My Family Tree is not on it, but on my computer. There is about 28,150 people in my family tree. My side of the family is on the Dodson side, which Olive E. Topper McNeils mother was Martha Elizabeth Dodson. Martha was my 1st cousin 4 times removed.

Thank you so much for the phone number you provided. Somewhere along the way someone made a mistake and accidentally recorded the information incorrectly. My four grandparents are actually buried in this location: Section 3 Lots 38A and 38B.

Aloysius Dithrich
Mary E Dithrich
Elizabeth Dietrich
John J Dietrich

If there is any chance you can take pictures of them the next time you are in Mount Carmel I would be deeply appreciative.

Thanks Again.
