I retired from the US Navy as a CAPT after 24 years service in 1997. My husband also retired from the USN as a CDR after 20 years service. I became interested in genealogy shortly thereafter, and have been searching for my families since. |
Most of my families are in SE OH and E PA. Most of my memorials are for these families, so I'm generally not open to transferring them, though I have transferred on some occasions.
I love sharing/comparing information, and would love to hear from anyone who finds my postings on this site helpful.

Hi, I added the information that you requested for both of the Waterman's...Bonnie
|Karen Bloom||On Jonathan Rowland|
Sharon, putting together my family. I wanted to know if you are related to Jonathan? I have him married to a great aunt down our line, and looks like he had wife family before him and Mary married in 1897. She married late in life. She died 6 years after they were married and buried up by her family.
Looking for a picture of him, just to add as her husband, no more. If he is no relation, then let me know. Thanks Karen in Pa.
|Katrina Krewson||Possible Connection|
I am currently adding info to my family tree with my brother Chester A. Krewson V. Recently I was given information on our 3 x great grandfather Albanus L. Krewson; on his death certificate his parents are listed as Jacob Krewson and Elizabeth Johnson both of Pennsylvania -- I was wondering if Elizabeth Johnson could also be Griffith. If you have any information that could help me to figure out this branch I would be grateful!
You are Welcome

Hi Sharon, at this point, we really don't know. Up until a couple of years ago, we didn't even know about Edward P. Rylott, and now, less than 2 months ago, we find out about Michael Bambrick.

Thank you for responding. I welcome the transfer and will write and double check with your source person. Thank you for her email address.
|Don Sheaffer||Thomas Coster Rylott|
We have just discovered that Edward Paul Rylott was actually Harriet Ball Ashton's second husband and not the father of Thomas Coster Rylott. Her first husband was Michael Bambrick who was TC's father. That was why Coster was born 2 years before Edward and Harriet were married. I will check to see if I still have your e-mail address so I can send you scans of the church documents.
|Linda Jean Limes Ellis||Hi Sharon : RE: Townsend|
Thanks for your message. Yes, I've been a genealogist for longer than I can remember. My own great-great-great grandfather, Harmon Limes, Jr. is also buried at the Friends (Quaker) Cemetery. I got him a new gravestone. Thanks!

Hi Sharon. Thank you for your message today. I just happen to have Vols IV and V of the Encyclopedia of Quaker Genealogy" but have not looked at it for awhile. Thank you so much for helping to clear up this mystery. The cemetery is in poor condition, and as you can see so are many of the gravestones. Thank goodness Mary is now more than "M" !

So sorry I haven't gotten back to you yet. My sister had her 8th back surgery on 9/8 and it seems like every day I'm doing chores and going to the store, hardly have any time on-line. I've made a copy of your great email and will try to get back to you soon, honest. Just wanted to let you know you aren't forgotten. You can see what time I'm writing this, the only time I have to myself, and I've got a sick kitty to get to the vet today. It just never seems to end! Take care.
With All Sincerity, Kathie L. Webb Blair
