Please remember the f-a-g rule from the FAQs.|
You should NEVER deliberately create a duplicate memorial.
PLEASE - send corrections through the edit tab and suggest a correction. Notes left on the message page may not be seen for weeks.
from the FAQS:
ONLY post photos for which YOU hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!!
No obituary photographs.
No SCANS of obituaries or newspaper articles. Additionally, biographical information and obituaries should not be included in a virtual flower.
from the FAQS:
"Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Explain your relationship in the request"
FROM THE FAQs BURIAL UNKNOWN:
Location of body unknown should be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition should be determined and updated within 30 days. Exceptions to this rule are available in the FAQs. Memorial contributions to Find A Grave should fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition. If the memorial contribution corresponds with only the main mission, then the memorial fulfills its purpose as part of Find A Grave's mission.
Current project - Identifying defunct and duplicate cemeteries in Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties.
Status of Old Tennent Project - waiting for better weather and snow to leave to re-start photographing grounds. We are 52% complete

Thank you so much for the headstone photo of Franklin McQuilken at Elmwood Cemetery
Shepherdstown, Jefferson County, WV.
It is because of thoughtful people like you that has made Find A Grave so special. I hope that the recent acqusition by Ancestry will never change this wonderful relationship of volunteers so willing to help others. Sadly, I have found some who are deleting their memorials and don't want to continue because of this change. But am encouraged that you are continuing To KEEP UP YOUR GOOD WORK!

Thanks for the quick transfer of my mother. It is much appreciated.
I use Findagrave all the time and I can't tell you how many times I've come across you name as the contributor! All the time you spent entering facts and pictures have made my research so much easier!
I have been working on my family tree for many-many years and NONE of my family members were in Findagrave. They are now!
I started on my wife's tree only a month ago, and have found almost everyone in Findagrave!
Thanks Again for your help... Jack
Thanks you for all your photos. You are a True Friend.

|beverly goll||Saul Finkelstein|
Thank you so much for the photo.
Saul Finkelstein was my grandmothers brother.
You have helped to solve the mystery of his date and place of burial.
He lived in Lakewood and owned a poultry farm.
The stone lists his Hebrew name and the name of his father. This information is correct and this Saul is certainly my great uncle.
Thank you again!!!!

There aren't enough words to thank you for what you do. My Father-In-Law's Father's day present yesterday was a family tree poster and binder full of all kind of info, known and previously unknown to him. I just emailed him your photo of his parents headstone, to print and add to the Family Tree binder. I promise to pay it forward in my neck of the woods! Bless you!
