I appreciate all your effort to locate this J.Myers in Fairview Cemetery, Altoona, PA. I am sorry it was futile on your part, but I am greatly thankful for your effort for my request.

Hi Annie; Thanks for updating this memorial. I'm a Nearhoof descendant and trying to get everything on as many sites as I can for others. I have an abundance of information to share and want to get it out there! Thanks again for doing it so quickly.
Annie, thank you so much for searching the area for Samuel and noting he is by his mother/father, I appreciate your time. Take good care, Merilyn Smith-Bortz

Thanks for looking for her headstone. I do not know if the one that fell beside Jeremiah is hers or not.

Thanks Thought I'd take a chance before making a trip to the genealogy library.
Thank you for being so prompt in your updates. You are a credit to Find A Grave. Mary

Are you the person that has photographed much of Rosehill Cemetery in Altoona? If so, I believe you helped me find the graves of my husband's great-grandparents. Currently, I am looking for an aunt of my husband. Her name is Nellie May Stonebraker. Do you, by any chance, have a photo of her gravestone or know where she is buried. If not, no problem. Thanks! Valerie

First let me thank you (much!) for putting the info about my father, James Roger Clapper, onto this site.
Just one small thing - his middle name (as mine) is "Roger" with no "d". Hopefully it's not a big deal to correct that.
Thanks again, and best wishes!

Once again thank you for you help and time! Appreciate the photo of Samuel Behmer's memorial.
I also apologize for my lateness thanking you...

Well, gee, I'm a family member. I don't have him listed in our records under any first name other than Michael. When I did the appropriate searches both at Find A Grave at large and of the particular cemetery NOTHING showed up. That's the due diligence that's expected, and that's why I added his record. Can't search under a name I don't have. I appreciated your bringing this memorial to my attention, and told you so. I offered to share information with you. For now I am comfortable contacting the cemetery and seeing what they know about the different dates, the different name, the new marker, etc. This seems the most reasonable approach. It is not worth getting that upset/nasty about.
I have contributed literally hundreds of obituaries to other people's memorials. As you know, that's not something one gets "credit" for. The satisfaction comes from helping people gain access to information they might not otherwise have.
