You are right. The only thing I can think of is his wife's father's name was Reuben. Maybe they got the two names mixed up.

RE: Lois Johnston Tanner
Thanks, I guess I haven't been doing this long enough to figure things like that out. Any information you find will be greatly appreciated. Where do you live? I live near Memphis, TN so I have access to the cemeteries in Tipton County, TN where I grew up. I have been to most of the cemeteries where I have family, but only taking photos of the ones I can find and trying to match them up. I did go to the court house in Covington, Tipton County, TN, but they have sent all their death records to Nashville.

You are great. Thanks so much. Indian Creek Cemetery is full of my ancestors. How would I find what you are looking through? Are you on I am and that is where I find most of my information that I can't find from family records. My family trees are the Tanner/Boswell/Baskin and the Johnston families buried there and all their families.

RE: Gret Ashle Turner
I know that my grandmother, Lois Johnston Tanner and Ashley Nathaniel Tanner, Sr. had twins July 1, 1923, one died and the other, Elizabeth Jane Tanner Simonton, Jul 1, 1923 - Dec 29, 2008 is buried in Morrison Cemetery in Brighton. My grandmother also had a baby sometime after her last son, Wayne Hays Tanner Mar 14, 1934 was born. There are stones near their grave there in Indian Creek, marked "Twin" and one marked "Baby". I am sure the "Twin" is the twin of my aunt Elizabeth Jane, but I don't know when the baby was born or if it was a boy or girl. I don't have the Bible of my grandmother and will try to find out who has it and see if there is anything in it about the Baby. But if you can find the information, I will greatly appreciate it. Thanks for looking. They also lost a daughter, Ruth Christine Tanner Jul 21, 1929 - May 4, 1932 also buried there with a marker, "Ruth".

Pvt Edison Harris
According to Edison's death certificate, he was born July 13 1897, not 1893. The 1900 census lists his birth as July 1896.

Louis Muzzy #36969078

I was trying to find the Missouri D/C # and was wondering under what spelling did you find Louis Muzzy. I found what I thought was his mother but she was married to Frank L. Muzzy.
Any help you can give me is appreciated.

Thanks for the information you sent.

RE: McNees
Thank you. My apology, but I'm not sure what it was you added or changed. I checked my ancestry tree and have the information in your message. Maybe I've been pounding this keyboard too long today and can't see that forest for the trees!
