I am hooked on genealogy and finding my ancestors final resting places. We have tromped through many very old cemeteries across the country in our search.
We have been lucky enough to have had some amazing things happen during our research travels. We have had completely unexpected help from some wonderful people, some we happpily found were related and of course we have had lots of devine intervention and guidance when least expected.
Find A Grave allows me to permanently record my findings so that I can share with others who might also be searching for the same families. Please feel free to contact me if you find we are related.
Find A Grave gives me a way to "Pay it Forward" by helping others find their families resting place. My hope is that maybe some of you that I help will in turn "Pay it forward" by helping others.
AGAIN, ALL PHOTOS ARE COPYRIGHTED SO PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR PERMISSION TO COPY AND USE.

I've been trying to find out what happened to my 3Xgreat-aunt, Ann Gore Paxton. She was married to a Samuel Paxton in Rockbridge County, VA on October 26, 1837. Do you have any records for either of them?
|Derk Sherren||Elizabeth S. Paxton|
Hello. You have done a great job and would very much like to ask you if I can use the picture of the grave stone for Elizabeth S. Paxton, who is my 19th cousin 1x removed. I will put you as the source for this picture.
I am related through the Stuart family. My family goes from my name, through the Royals and Stewart/Stuart clan to the marriage of William Paxton and Elizabeth Ann Stuart and so on.
Derk L. Sherren
My family tree on Ancestry is called "Sherrens of the World"

Hello Laurel! I am asking permission to use your photo for Samuel Paxton Memorial 19338264 on my ancestry.com page and to give it to the other people in my family who are interested in our family tree for their personal use. I, too, am a descendant of Samuel Paxton. Margo
You have the information for Sarah Templeton posted on Sarah Paxton's page.

|Silverfox||Photo Attached to Wrong Memorial?|
Hi - You have attached a photo for Alfred Hines to a memorial for Smiley Marquis - 64856713. I believe you have attached this photo to the wrong memorial.
|Danella W.||Eleanor Paxton|
I came across Eleanor's headstone photo online and added it to my Ancestory profile page. Upon further research, I find that you have copy-written this photo, so I will remove it until I am able to get permission from you to copy it.
The Paxtons and one of my families, the Greens (old Col. Thomas Marston Green supposedly performed the wedding ceremony for Andrew Jackson & Rachael Donelson abt 1791 in MS) were connected by marriage.
I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you very much.

Thank you for taking the time to take these photos for me. I very much appreciate it!
Thank you so much for getting the photos of Jacob Walters and his mother, (my great Aunt) Katherine Dreith's gravestones.
