NOTE: I'm winding down my presence on Find A Grave. I have transferred the memorials I created so that I won't be a roadblock to anyone else. END OF NOTE.|
I'm a life-long resident of North Carolina. My Find A Grave documentation is focused on the descendants of Charles Johnson of Strawberry Hill Plantation in Chowan County, N.C. near Edenton. He came to Edenton, Chowan County, N.C. from England in 1775. He was born with the surname "Johnston" or "Johnstone" in Scotland. In 1785, he married Elizabeth Earl of the Earl family of Bandon Plantation in Chowan County. They had one child who survived, Charles Earl Johnson of Bandon Plantation. Charles Earl Johnson's 1807 marriage to Ann Williams Taylor of Franklin County, N.C. produced children who married into the Henderson family of Granville and Rowan Counties, N.C.; the Skinner family of Perquimans County, N.C.; the Iredell family of Chowan County, N.C.; the Granbery family of Perquimans County, N.C; the Baker family of Gates County, N.C. and the Smith family of Halifax County, N.C. My Find A Grave entries focus on the descendants of these marriages.
My Find A Grave documentation also relates to the Wilhelm Huters family of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the Maunsel White family of New Orleans, the Snipes family of Isle of Wight County, Virginia, the Wilson family of Mecklenburg and Cabarrus Counties in North Carolina and the family of John Alden of the Mayflower.

Hi Dan - I had the memorial for Rev Johnson in Saint Pauls changed to a cenotaph. I did not see a memorial for him in his family plot so I did add one. If you were planning to let me know and I will be more than happy to delete my entry. Thank you - Cindy

Dan, I received the SAC's you sent for the Carson family in Old Settler's cemetery in Charlotte. I have added the family links as requested and was able to update the dates as well thanks to the photos you posted. Thank you so much for sending the information on to me.

Hi, Dan --- Herman Aubrey Gardner, Willie Wimbish Gardner, and Albert Lewis Gardner are all children of Fannie (Henderson) Gardner Gray Leslie Gulley.
Mary E. (Wynn) Gardner [her name is incorrect on the memorial, Wynn is her maiden name] was the wife of Albert Lewis Gardner.

Thanks for the transfer.
I have also added Leslie and Gulley as Fannie (Henderson) Gardner Leslie Gulley's spouses. She had two other husbands. One does not have a headstone and the other doesn't seem to be in the cemetery I think he should be in.
Next...I need to document all the small biographies as you have so beautifully done! (My only excuse is...I did it a long time ago.)
