Bio and Links
Bio Photo I grew up in Marion, Kansas and now live back in Lubbock, TX, after 9 years in Albuquerque. I work on our genealogy almost everyday. We are retired and have 4 children and 8-1/2 grandchildren. I have been working on genealogy for about 23 years. We travel often and am able to take many photos. I really enjoy this site and the ability to take photos for someone who lives far away. is a wonderful site and is helping many people fill in the blanks on their family trees. If anyone finds any information that needs editing, please email me and let me know, as I will be happy to make the corrections. I am researching the following names: Childs, Crandall, Malmstrom, Dickinson, Harrison, Roach, Postar, Zimring & Inkeles. Let us remember those who passed before us, in hopes that we will be remembered, too.

Leland and Lorene Youk
Hi Marsha - Per your request, I will link Lorene Laubhan to her first husband, Leland Youk. I just linked Leland to his parents, too. I've sent a request to the creator of Lorene's memorial to change her last name from "Youk Laubhan" to just "Laubhan, in accordance with rules on how to handle the surname for women who've had more than one husband. (That is, use what's on the headstone and add a note/link about any other names.) Currently a search on "Lorene Laubhan" doesn't find her, which will no doubt end up causing a duplicate memorial, if it hasn't already. Finally, I have deep roots in Durham and many relatives buried in this cemetery. I've come across Youk/Yauk in some of the paper trails for them. Are you a Youk? -Amy

Do you know where there is an obituary for Mildred Granada? Her dad and my mother would have been first cousins. We are trying to learn more about the family. Thanks.

Angelia (Stout ) Myers
Hi Marsha -

I submitted an edit for your review to my great, great aunt's memorial. # 132527161. She and her husband Ira Eugene are buried in Marion Cemetery. Angelia's maiden name was Stout. Her parents, Joshua and Mary Ann are buried in Hillside Cemetery near Saffordville. I'm taking a long driving trip next month (August) and will be stopping in Marion, Cottonwood Falls and Saffordville (or what is left of it)just to see and take some pictures. Thank you for creating the memorials. Steve Stout

Thanks so much for that beautiful photograph of their gravestone, and thanks too for sending the plot location--it has been added to their memorial pages. Hope you're having a perfect Fourth of July weekend!

Marsha, thank you for adding the bio to John's memorial. However, I made a booboo! Could you change port of arrival from "Galveston, Texas" to "Boston, Massachusetts" (Memorial# 10952320). Thank you again, and sorry for the goof! Shirley
