Bio and Links
Bio Photo Been into genealogy since about 2000. Love cemeteries and am an occasional RV traveler.

I am a "no-dispositions-unknown" contributor. This means that not only will I not create Burials Unknown (except as permitted), I will not link memorials to BUs.

Concentrating my efforts now to Cowlitz and Lewis Counties. Currently (2010-2013) working on transcribing and photographing Winlock Cemetery, Winlock, WA. I have completed the cemetery and am cleaning up loose ends, trying to read deteriorating stones. Little Falls Cemetery & Vader Catholic Cemetery, Vader, WA are done!!(9/2010)

Also inputting cemetery records in IOWA from transcriptions published by members of the IA Genealogical Society. Completed thus far are:

Another note: I will gladly transfer memorials *within* the FindAGrave guidelines (see FAQs) only. I will be happy to add links and bio info for any memorial I manage (please use the 'Edit' tab and the 'Suggest-A-Correction SAC' feature); the recent spate of deletions, dupes, and widespread name-collecting of persons trying to build their family tree on this site is a misuse of the site's original intent.

Leta Braley
I made a mistake on her parents. They should be Floyd Hiram Braley - 53002881 and Alice M. Braley - 53002880.

Sorry, Sue

Atlanta Buffington Schlee photo
Atlanta Buffington Schlee memorial #101168624
Hi there,

This photo came from a Buffington family photo album owned by the Columbus Community Historical Museum in Columbus Junction. This photo as well as others of the Buffington family were originally taken in the 1860's and 1870's on CDV's. In the 1890's the photos were copied and reprinted to the cabinet card format. This was done so more family members could have copies of the original photos. If you look closely at this photo you will notice she is crooked in the photo. That is because the original wasn't perfectly straight when copied.

I hope this helps!

He emailed back right away.

RE: Photo for Annie May Hunter Bacon
The last line on Annie May's grave marker (I believe)reads "United with Salem Baptist Church 8/22/1883". Which would make since as it would be a few months before they married. I am glad I could help with both the picture and that I still had it in my computer. Many happy returns,

RE: Isaac Betts
Hi Marilyn,

Thanks for sending me the information on Isaac Betts. He is my Great Great Great Grandfather. And one of my most interesting ancestors. It is mentioned in the family that he loved to fight. I have his military records that mention how he was captured by the Rebs. and traded back at the first part of the civil war. Now, thanks to you I have this. If he is mentioned again I would love to hear any thing you come across.

Thanks again.
