"Perhaps there are no stars, only openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pour through and shine down upon us to let us know that they are happy"|
I am a retired state worker. I have been retired for over 13 years now, retiring from Nevada Highway Patrol as a Administrative Aide II, in July of 2003. Retiring was the best thing that I have ever done for myself. I am married and have one daughter, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
I have been putting names on Obituary Daily Times since 1997. At that time I started keeping the obits that were written up in the local newspapers so I could help people do their genealogy and locate loved ones that have passed on.
I enjoy doing genealogy very much and have traced my family clear back to 1618, so why not help other people that are interested in doing it. I research Wakefield, Staley, Campbell, Stargell and Walker lines. I also run two online gift and collectibles stores and three auctions sites. I am busier now than I have ever been when I was working. Keeps me out of trouble. (Grin) I love writing the stores up about those who have passed on and I hope that when my turn comes, someone will do the same for me.
If tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there for you to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears that are for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry them
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things we did,
But didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time that you about me,
I know you'll miss me so;
When tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called me by name,
And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
And that I'd have to leave behind
All the people that I dearly love.
But as I turned to walk away,
A tear fell from my eye,
For all my life, I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die.
I had so much to live for,
So much left in life yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible,
That I am leaving you.
I thought about all of the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all that we have shared,
And all the fun we have had.
If I could relive yesterdays,
Just even for just a little while,
I'd say good-bye and kiss you
And maybe see you with a smile.
But then I fully realized,
That this will never be,
For emptiness and memories,
Would take the place inside of me.
And when I thought about the worldly things,
I might miss some in the tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
My heart will be filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through Heaven's golden gates,
I felt so much that I was at home.
When God looked down and smiled on me,
From His great golden throne,
He said, "This is your eternity,
And all I've promised you."
Today your life on earth has past,
But here in Heaven life starts anew.
I promise you no tomorrow,
But today will always last,
And since each day will be the same way,
There's no longing for the past.
So when tomorrow starts without me,
Please don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm always right there, in your heart "

|Gerald Wakefield||RE: Wakefield Geneology|
Hello Judy...I would be glad to send you a copy of my book: Nelson Wakefield and Bird Lankford...a Genealogical Study if you will provide me an address. I think you will be impressed and at no cost to you. Gerald
|Gerald Wakefield||Wakefield Geneology|
Hi, wrote a book about this subject (http://www.worldcat.org/title/nelson-wakefield-bird-langford-a-genealogical-study/oclc/501319084
still have several copies available if you are interested. Am looking for Nelson Wakefield's grave in Oklahoma. He was born about 1849 and died about 1889 of pneumonia on a freight run between Ft Worth Texas and Oklahoma City. Am also interested in Thomas Wakefield(1618-1697 from whom I descend. Like your site. Gerald

Hi, Judy. I appreciate the work you've done on the memorial for Dorothy Crumroy Peterson. She is my mother and I am requesting the transfer of her grave ownership to me, Donna Peterson Brown.
I'm not sure how to add her children, etc. but I will continue to look around and explore. Thank you very much.

Thank You. Do you live in NV. I live in Carlin, NV
Hi, I am just getting started with Find-a-Grave. I have found that you did a page for my mother. Jacqueline L Perry. It is awesome what you did. I would like to manage her page so that I can attach other memorials that I have found for family.
