Bio and Links
Bio Photo San Diego has some of the best Find a Grave contributors who are doing an amazing job of documenting our local cemeteries. If you need a grave photo there is no shortage photo volunteers. If you are looking for an obituary, cemetery information or advice we have volunteers happy to help you.
If you are new to Find a Grave and want to start contributing in the San Diego area please read the FAQs or reach out to someone with your questions.

Please always do a search before creating a new memorial

Links, Corrections and additional information
Please use the edit tab and I will be happy to make corrections, add links and additional information. Do not leave information you want added on this page.

Note: Abstracted lists (such as census, death index, etc.) should be formulated into complete sentences prior to submitting for addition to the bio.
Copy-and-paste census, military and other data is not a "bio". Please don't send these type of bios because they will not be added.

This is Find-a-Grave, we find graves, so please, if the memorial doesn't have a grave photo, request one prior to asking for a transfer.
I'm pretty liberal when it comes to transfers, however too many times I have transferred and nothing is added or changed. So if you want a transfer, please:
1. Post any family photos (if you have them)
2. Provide me with family links and biographical information you wish to add to the memorial.
3. Tell me your exact relationship

I will not make a transfer if you create excessive memorials with unknown burial locations.

Please be a Find a Grave contributor, not just a collector of someone else's work

✔ PLEASE NOTE!!! Do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate.

RE: Philip Cline
Hi "Cousin" --

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Thanks very much for creating these pages.

I would like to take you up on your offer for taking over these pages. Let me know if there's anything I need to do, as I'm a newbie.

I'm in San Jose, but most of Alta's descendants live in Colorado. Nice to hear that one side of the family made it to glorious San Diego!

Thanks again.

RE: Victoria Tassell Michels
Lott was her maiden name and Tassell her first married name. She is most remembered and loved as Tassell.

RE: Harriett Irene Hillger Reed
Do you think that her husband is there with her ? I can't imagine him NOT being there. His name is Albert O. Reed and he was born in 1886. I am going to do one for both of them, let me know if its a problem

RE: Harriett Irene Hillger Reed
Well, she's not real active. She lives right near me, and I think she'll get it updated. Believe me, I am waiting with bated breath, since I have some others in this family that I found yesterday and took awesome photos of. Thanks SO MUCH ! I will go ahead and make memorials for these. I can't wait to get all the changes made to get the family all together.

You might look for:
Born Oct 1892 Abilene Texas, sister to Charles Burton Hillger. She died 19 June 1986 in San Diego. She could be buried in the same place, but have no idea if she married or not.

RE: Elise Priess Hillger
I will look to see if any other Hillgers left for California. it's hard to track people about the time they were in Abilene, but I will see what I can do. Thanks
