Bio and Links
Bio Photo San Diego has some of the best Find a Grave contributors who are doing an amazing job of documenting our local cemeteries. If you need a grave photo there is no shortage photo volunteers. If you are looking for an obituary, cemetery information or advice we have volunteers happy to help you.
If you are new to Find a Grave and want to start contributing in the San Diego area please read the FAQs or reach out to someone with your questions.

Please always do a search before creating a new memorial

Links, Corrections and additional information
Please use the edit tab and I will be happy to make corrections, add links and additional information. Do not leave information you want added on this page.

Note: Abstracted lists (such as census, death index, etc.) should be formulated into complete sentences prior to submitting for addition to the bio.
Copy-and-paste census, military and other data is not a "bio". Please don't send these type of bios because they will not be added.

This is Find-a-Grave, we find graves, so please, if the memorial doesn't have a grave photo, request one prior to asking for a transfer.
I'm pretty liberal when it comes to transfers, however too many times I have transferred and nothing is added or changed. So if you want a transfer, please:
1. Post any family photos (if you have them)
2. Provide me with family links and biographical information you wish to add to the memorial.
3. Tell me your exact relationship

I will not make a transfer if you create excessive memorials with unknown burial locations.

Please be a Find a Grave contributor, not just a collector of someone else's work

✔ PLEASE NOTE!!! Do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate.

Obit Help
Hi, after reading your bio, you mentioned there were volunteers that were willing to help with obituaries. Would you be able to direct me to a volunteer that may be able to find an obituary for Augustine McDonnell (memorial #99874785) that you made a memorial for. He died Dec. 5, 1992 in Calabasas,Los Angeles County, CA. Thanks so much.

Albert Hardy's wife
The Elizabeth Hardy buried next to Albert Hardy is his second wife( Elizabeth Hayes). His first wife was Elizabeth also (Elizabeth Fishburn). I went to put in the death date for his second wife and it showed up as her birth date. I don't know her birth date. Karen

Hi Gennaphyr, Thank you for all your hard work. Would you mind transferring Ronald E Morgan, Harold A Morgan and Agnes K Morgan to me? They are in Greenwood Cemetary. I am their granddaughter/niece and I live here in Lakeside. I am very proactive with genealogy and will upload pictures as soon as my internet usage allows me to.

Thanks so much,

John Harlan Fisher
I have been tracking a John Harlan Fisher, who was born in Pennsylvania in 1847. He lived in Otsego County, Mi, for several years and then moved on. There is a Fisher cemetery plot in Otsego Lake cemetery and questions as to whether John or his brother might be buried there. I am trying to rule out John. (already ruled out Sam) You have him buried in block 7, lot 64, sp. 2 of Evergreen Cemtery, El Centro, Imperial, California. Can you tell me who else is buried in that lot? I don't see a son listed in any cemetery in Imperial County, so perhaps he is with a daughter's family--and I don't know married names for daughters. His wife is buried in Saginaw, MI. He is not listed there.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Joan E. Knight, memorial 114264598
The subject is listed as the spouse of Edgar Tilden Strange, Jr. who is a maternal uncle.

Please provide me date & place of marriage between these persons

I am aware that he was married in 1944 to someone else. They were stilll married when he died in April 1954.

Any info you can provide would be helpful.
