Bio and Links
Bio Photo I love doing my family's genealogy. I am looking up Terry, Anderson, Vunovich, Derrington, James, Strika, Greenlee or Greenlees, Aldens and the Lynn or Linn, Dowdy and Shallenburger, Huntley Families. I have learned a lot by reading the different gravestones.

Please visit these Memorials:
CJ Meek, Tinker Nicholas Vunovich, Joel Anton Robinson and
Alex James Vunovich.

Cannot we find an American capable and worthy of the trust? ...Why should we take the bread out of the mouths of our own children and give it to strangers?" ~ John Adams, 2nd President Of The United States

"Any man can make mistakes, but only an idiot persists in his error." ~ Marcus Tullius Cicero.

For the people who send me information and corrections for my memorials I thank you.

If I don't have a Memorial then I can't change it!!!!!!!!!!

Please provide documentation for links to parents--otherwise, they will be declined.
I'm getting too many incorrect links to parents.

(proof) is a must have!!!!!

John and Susannah Hamilton md sep 26 1664 in Scotland, the George you have as their son is the wrong George,or you have dates wrong.. so far their children are so far that I have found :Col. John Anderson of Ulster 1665-1736, George 1667-1739,Alexander 1669-1670,Susannah Hamilton Anderson 1671-1672,Barbara 1671,Isobell 1673-1720,Rebecca 1674,Janet 1675,Ninian (Male) 1676-1677,Christian 1677,Rev James Anderson 1678-1740,Marion (Female),and Robert.. It's a scots line, they have a naming pattern, throughout future generations, with each child the names will be repeated..that's why so many get confused with so many with the same name in any scots and Irish family. Gets me twisted about at times. Have fun.. Happy Yule

RE: In
Oh yes but it is far from the only thing. The california death index also lists the birth year as 1927 as far as I can tell the ONLY thing that has 1924 is his military record. The social security index also lists 1927. I sent a message to the cemetery to see what else needs done. The birth records all state 1927.

RE: RE:can
His age on his marriage certificate indicates he was born in 1927. As does the 1930 census which was done April 21st of that year meaning he had not had his birthday yet when it was done and he was 2 years old at that time. The US social security death index also lists his birth year as 1927. The military headstone is the only thing that has the wrong year and it is because he lied about his age so that he could enlist for the war.

RE: Sorry
Do not apologize, it is not your fault the stone is wrong it is because ken wanted to serve his country and could not wait until he was of age. I have send the cemetery a letter asking who is the proper person to notify about the mistake as I want history to have the correct information.
I am having a lot of fun uncovering the mysteries of our family!
Love you!!

RE: Rev James Anderson
Thanks. I know I can get to Rev James, thus we should be distant cousins somewhere down the line.

PS If you need pictures of any sites in Reno, Nevada or Southern California, let me know

Rev James Anderson
Love your work/working on family tree that gets to Anderson thru the Hunsaker line

My question for you is. I have not been able to establish or see a credible document linking the the Rev to his parents. Ancestary people show 2 different parents. I think the George and Mary are correct, but nobody has any documents to show this line.

Any help you can give will be appreciated
