Thanks for visiting my profile!
I'm Mandy, and I'm a happily married mother of one living in central VA. I've always loved cemeteries, and thanks to this site I've found a great reason to spend my free time there!! Any nice weekend or evening you might run into me and my lovely assistants (son and dogs) at a cemetery in the area.
Currently I am working on documenting, in its entirety, Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg, VA. It is the second largest cemetery in Virginia, behind Arlington. This may take a while! I have to give credit to the many members who have listed memorials from Blandford already: Paula, Barbara, George, and many others, but most of all Susan - you are the best!
To my knowledge, I am of no relation to the memorials I've created, except for those listed here. If you find any errors or omissions in any of them, please feel free to contact me and I will correct them expediently.
I prefer that you use the Suggest a Correction function under the "Edit" tab to request additions/changes or transfers - it makes it much easier for me to find the specific memorial that way. If you send me a request and I do not address it within a few days, please re-send! If you re-send and still get no response, go ahead and list my memorial on here, because I'm probably dead. :) | |

 | RE: Transfering memorials. Hi Mandy, Thanks for tranferring my Bristow family, so quickly. I've linked Priscilla to her parents & some of her siblings, including my grandfather Collier. I noticed you crated memorials for a few of my 1st couins, 1x removed, but there are so many, I'll not ask you to transfer. If or when I change my mind, I'll contact you again. I'll try your suggestion, regarding Blanche Hawkins Miles & another sister, Martha Ann Hawkins Elmore, created by the same person(Englishsunset). He included, under bios and links, the the following; "Sitting at the station, witing for the train to take me home" It sounds a bit depressing to me. me. Jean Love the phot of I assume your son & dog | | | Jean Keener
 | Transfering memorials. What an job you have undertaken!!! Priscilla Hawkins Bristow #73927832 was my maternal grandfather's sister, my gr-aunt. Her husband was John Y. Bristow #73927821. Would you mind transferring their memorials to me? I am trying to link all the Hawkins siblings with their parents, who are buried in the Lee Family Cemetery in Dinwiddie County.
Blanche Hawkins Miles #14982551 was another of my grandfather's sisters buried in Blandford Cemetery, but there doesn;t seem to be a way to contact the gentleman who originally added the memorial to Find A Grave. I noticed your name was listed as a friend & wondered if you could help me? Thank you member #48010254 | | | Jim Estes

 | Catherine "Catarine" Jacobs Mandy:
I have attached a photo of Catarine's Headstone. It is more like a large concrete slab covering the grave. It is difficult to make out, but you can see her name and the date of her death. It was too sunny to get a closeup, however. The light was reflecting off the slab, making it difficult to see any details on the photo.
