Our names are David 'DJ' & Judi. We live in Northwest Tennessee but have a great amount of family from Tallahatchie County, Mississippi.|
We have taken a great interest in finding out about family ancestors and preserving cemeteries digitally for future generations.
TRANSFERS: Please go to the memorial you wish to have transferred and request a transfer from there. If you want to manage a relatives memorial, please let us know and we will be glad to transfer it to you (except our own relatives). From the FAQ: Fourth, Explain your relationship in the request! While I do transfer out of guidelines, please let me know your relationship to the person in the memorial, not just "They're a relative."
Find A Grave rules on:
"Is it acceptable to add a memorial for someone who is still living?
Please try to avoid it. In general, we do not encourage adding memorials for individuals who are still living. We do realize, however, that when transcribing a cemetery, it is not always possible to determine if the person is living or not. Please do not add pre-need memorials from (1925-present) to Find A Grave. Memorials for individuals who are alive will be removed when requested (the exception being for 'famous' individuals who already have a burial location in place). You are always welcome to create a 'pre-need' memorial for yourself, if you would like, provided that you have a pre-need headstone already in place in a cemetery."

|Susan Smith||David Clifford Bryant|
I read the stone for David Clifford Bryant as died 1973, which agrees with the Social Security Death Index. You've listed him as died 1938. Typo?

|Sandie Schwarz||Katharine Freund Huff|
Hello, I see that you are the great great granddaughter of Katherine Freund Huff (Wilhelm Huff). I have them in my maternal family data base, and I have a note for Wilhlem, saying that Katherine may have been his second wife/marriage? Would you have any info in regards to this? This was written in a bio in our McHenry County History: Per McHenry County in the 20th Century, bio's :
"Family legend says that Katrina was Wilhelms second wife, which may explain the birthdate of daughter Anna Maria, however no documented proof of this has ever been found." I have her parents as Stephen FREUND and Anna SHAFFER, your 3x great-grandparents, and Wilhelm's parents, Maximillian Huff and Anna ________ ?
Hi! I am wondering if you are related to a Nancy Cloninger? She married a Samuel Langford and they resided in Barton, Indiana in 1880. I do not know her parent's names. Any info would be appreciated. I am their ggg-granddaughter.

My married name is Huff. In searching the Huff name our line came from Germany in 1836 and settled in Tuscawarus county, Ohio. From there one son Henry came to Indiana. Hope this helps. Barb
|Sandy Pierson||Peter Rhyne|
Do you know if Peter Rhyne (#64208159)is the son of Jacob Rhyne (b.July 9, 1726; d. 1795) and Elizabeth Wills or Wiltz Rhyne? Jacob and Elizabeth had a daughter, Eve Magdalene Rhyne (b. 1751, d 1836) that married Johan Adam Cloninger
|Susan Maza||Maza connection|
I am researching Mary Elizabeth Maza Potts Reasonover Cloninger. I have found a record of a Mary Elizabeth Maza who m. Charley U. Knell in Tipton County, TN; license date 19 Apr, 1878. I know some of Mary's siblings were to have gone to the Memphis area in late 1800s. Possibly to seek work? Would like to know if she indeed died in 1936 and if that was in Tallahatchie County. Anyone know? I have other info to share on the Maza family.
One other thing in the 1910 census Joseph was married 4 times and Mary was married 3 times.
