I became hooked on genealogy when I was 10. I transcribed tombstones in my hometown because I wanted to research who the founding families were and how their lives were. |
I'm a Hood family researcher, something of a "clearinghouse" for Hood info because I've collected so much info on Hoods over the years, and I kept the info even though they turned out not to be my Hoods.
I hope to get involved in photographing tombstones in the near future so I can participate more in Find a Grave, but right now it's a bit difficult walking through cemeteries.

You are Welcome. Glad I can help.

You had a photo request for John Chamberlin in Wheeler Cemetery in Vermont. Someone reported a problem and that they could not find the grave. It is there. I posted photos but wanted to tell you that they are difficult to read. The stone is very worn. Also, he appears to be buried in the Bentley family plot. I see no family links for him so am not sure what the connection is with the Bentley family but thought you would want know if you are researching him.

Sorry for the error.
It won't happen again.
I already have a note of the date difference in the bio area.
|Doug Anderson||RE: Thank you , but there's a problem|
Could not find marker for Ethel White, checked twice, two separate days. Flat marker is not hers and location of plot seems to be marker less.
WILL RECHECK NEXT WEEK AND GET BACK TO YOU
SORRY FOR THE MISTAKE....
