I began researching our family trees in the mid 1970's, when all inquiries were done by phone or by snail mail. It was a long and slow process, but a very worthwhile one. |
In my spare time, I research for others, and on beautiful days, I take photos at surrounding cemeteries in Greenville County, SC. If there is anything, I can help with to validate your ancestor's lives in the nearby area; I will surely give it my best shot. Happy hunting!
Family surnames I am researching: LaRocque, Allore, Reiber, Hayes, McInerney, Sharp, Fishpool, Schribner, Courier.

Thank you for your offer. My mom's family is Minnie Lee Boles who married Leroy James Cowan. We made a trip to South Carolina the end of June 2013. Got a lot of pics at Langley, Smyrna, & Ridge. Could you tell me who I could get in touch with to make sure who is buried in 2 unmarked graves at the ridge cemetery? I would like to get some small marker for these 2. I am sure it is my Boles family. Thank you again.

I am fulfilling your photo request. I contacted the person who manages the memorial with the correct birth date, which according to the Mich. Death Cert is 6 August 1838.

Thank you very much for sending me the information about your current location and your family. Very interesting to know your family ties to " The Pines" theater. My wife and I both agree it is the most unique movie theater we've ever been in.
Sorry, no marker for William Hayes. I did post two photos for Haye's folks in adjoining graves.
