Willing to take pictures of tombstones in local area.....just write and ask me....email me if you notice any corrections that I need to make. If you are a family member of someone I have added and you would like me to transfer the memorial to you, let me know and I will gladly do so.|
Also, whenever I take a tombstone picture, if there are others around or near with the same name or if they appear to be related I take them too and post. So if you request a tombstone pic be sure to check for others that you might not have been aware of.
Lastly, let me say, that it is because of my mentor and cohort that I even got started on Find A Grave. It is Barbara Jensen (Robinette #47025656) that introduced me to this and we usually both go to the cemeteries and post the pics we have taken. We are a team. So all the thanks my profile get is for the team.

Re John Nixon Hayes;
DOB : May 20, 19 DOD: Aug. 20, 1911
Fairview Methodist Church Cemetery, Seneca, SC
John H (Hamilton) Nixon Hays died in 1911. The date of death on his stone has been misread and the Find-A-Grave listings read that he died in 1977.
He married Lois May Wyatt in 1908, had 2 children, one born, I believe after his death. Lois then married Mr. T. C. Gillespie of Oconee County and died in 1919. Her obituary is in the February 12 1919 edition of the Keowee Courier and it references her first husband's death "some seven years" prior to her death.
Thank you for correction of this information. C Hayes

I realize that I have left you some 140 updates on the memorials at Old Pickens. I had requested access from find-a-grave to avoid it, but got no response. I'm not done, but have done as much as I can without seeing the changes, so I can begin to double check them.
Having never done it, I don't know what is involved as to time in your approving these updates. I have made every effort to be accurate, but I am sure that in working with so many memorials at once that I have made some mistakes. I will be double checking my work on the memorials, but I won't suggest any further updates until you have had time to hopefully approve those pending.

Hi Robert, Thanks or the reply - I am going to send you an E-mail, I think it will be easier to communicate that way to try to fix this. Appreciate your help.

Thanks for the BOLT transfers.

I just posted parental edits for this person. She was linked to her grandparents instead of parents. My bad!! Obit on her memorial page refers to correct parents - Rudolph & Eloise Stoddard. Thanks for fixing this!
Thank you so much for taken the photos! I greatly appreciate it!
