The earth will never be the same again.
Rock, water, tree, iron share this grief
As distant stars participate in pain.
A candle snuffed, a falling star or leaf,
A dolphin death, O this particular loss
Is Heaven-mourned; for if no angel cried,
If this small one was tossed away as dross,
The very galaxies then would have lied.
How shall we sing our love's song now
In this strange land where all are born to die?
Each tree and leaf and star show how
The universe is part of this one cry,
That every life is noted and cherished,
And nothing loved is ever lost or perished.
I currently live in Charleston, South Carolina

May I please add a death certificate to this memorial? I have been researching this family for quite a while and the person I am researching for appreciates the D. C. being added to verify the information.

|Henry ||Rector Cemetery|
Hi Monica, THANKS for all the Find A Grave WORK YOU DO. On Find A Grave # 74929188, you show this person was buried in the Rector Cemetery in Greenville County, S.C., this person is buried in the Rector Cemetery on hi-way 14 north, a few miles North,of Greer, S.C.
I have visited both of these cemeteries.
The Rector Cemetery on hi-way 14 N is located at the edge of the yard of Jesse Russell Restor Sr's
plantation home, the Rector cemetery you refer to is located at the edge of the yard of Rev. Lewis Rector's plantation home, Jesse and Lewis were brothers, they left Va. and came to S.C. in late 1700s and early 1800s.
THANKS, if you would make the correction.
Henry Tracy Edwards
ps Jesse Russell Rector Sr was my wife's 3rd great grandfather, the number you refer to was Jesse Russell Rector Sr's grandson.
