Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in S.C. with my wife Julie and am doing research on the following lines Smith,Waldrop,Heaton,Wall. All have ties to South Carolina,Tennessee,Georgia and North Carolina areas. We really enjoy searching cemetery's and taking pictures for members. Every picture that I post we do as a team so it can be contributed to her also.
Please allow a little extra time in getting to your edits and requests. In the past month my wife and I welcomed are first child into the family and two weeks later I had surgery for a recurrence of my cancer. Mom and son are doing well, dad is still going a little slow. Thanks for your patience. Chris

Hello. I'm just letting you know that you have two of the same photo on Wayman's memorial.

Good luck with the baby and the doctor. I will put your family on the prayer roll in the Temple.

Best wishes

Hi Chris,
Thank you so much for the transfer of Kristina Clough's memorial(105224924)to me. I appreciate your hard work in creating a memorial for her. I will endeavor to continue your efforts to make this a truly honoring remembrance of her.
I appreciate all of your hard work that seeks to connect family to family, and remember, with reverence the loved ones of so many.
Best wishes.

The Inman/Hardin families
I would love to get copies of the information that you have about Shadrach Inman and his parents Ezekiel Inman and Henrietta Hardin! (I saw his brother Abednego's memorial that said you had other information about Shadrach). Please email me at

RE: Ralph Clough
Hi Chris,
Thanks so much for your reply. I am sure that you intended absolutely no disrespect toward my dad. I thought you might simply not have noticed the "S" in the designation on his marker. Thanks for explaining that there is no space to designate him as Staff Sergeant.
I am relatively new to Find A Grave, and my desire is to make each memorial, with which I deal, as honoring as possible to the person involved. I also want to make what I do on each memorial as quality as possible. Is there a place, such as the forums, where I can go to suggest a change be made to the form for military designations? I feel that the form should include such designations, because the website that I wrote about indicates that there are currently eight different ranks of sergeant and it does make a difference to the person involved not only in pay grade, but in responsibility and level of authority as well. Because of the fact that there are many former military personnel honored on this site, and because not having a space for differentiating these ranks is dishonoring to the person who worked hard to earn that rank, I would like to do something to be able to see this change.
I also realize that not being able to include such designations is due not at all to fault on the part of the person who created the memorial. If you can steer me in the right direction I will suggest that this oversight be corrected.
Chris, would it be too large of an imposition for me to request one final thing? I do so appreciate the change you made. You understood and heard my desire that my dad be honored appropriately. But Dad's bio would read more smoothly if you would be able to change it to say, "Mr. Clough served his country in New Guinea and Australia during World War II in the U.S. Army, where he rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant." Please do not be offended at this suggestion. I am not saying anything negative about what you did. As I said, I very much appreciate your willingness to honor my request and change the way his memorial reads. Please just chalk my thoughts up to the writer in me. I am a bit driven to make things read as smoothly as possible, and that's just my personal obsession. My friends who know me come to appreciate that. So please just smile, and know that I mean only good by what I've said.
I appreciate your time and efforts on my dad's behalf. Have a wonderful day.
Best wishes,
