Bio Photo Shame on you people who create memorials as soon as the obituary is published instead of waiting until AFTER the funeral/memorial service. Show a little respect.

This is a note I received from a Find A Grave member (whose name I will not mention)concerning my comment: "What is the big deal about creating a memorial before the burial service. The funeral homes publish all the same information and so does the newspaper. The person is dead and should not object."

My answer to that is: Some people are just disrespectful and insensitive to other peoples' feelings, BUT everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Obit photos are copyrighted. PLEASE do NOT add obituary photos to any memorials I have created. Please read FAQ under "Working with Photos":
General Guidelines:
"ONLY post photos for which YOU hold the copyright (meaning photos you took)!!!

PLEASE DO NOT add death certificates to my memorials. They are only as accurate as the information given by the informant, and they very often contain inaccurate information. Also, some of the information can be disturbing to some people.

In addition, I will not add obituaries unless they are my relation, so PLEASE DO NOT ask me to add them. You will be wasting your time and mine. This is mostly directed to the person who is sending me several obits every week.

REMEMBER:
THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF FIND A GRAVE IS A BURIAL REGISTRATION WEBSITE. Find a Grave is NOT meant to be a genealogy site.
