I have been researching my families tree since 1978. I have three children, and 6 grand children, one deceased, and two great grand children, I have added many relatives, and I am grateful for this site. | |

 | RE: Dr. Charles Clinton Root Thank you for your kind words. I made more than one trip in hopes of finding a marker and when I couldn't, 2 cemetery staff went out to the Section to see if they could find anything and came up empty as well. It is sad when this happens. Unfortunately I encounter this often, especially on older burials. Judie | | | Sandra Hopkins Ernst

 | RE: Armstrong's Nearly all of the Greens, Armstrongs and Grahams migrated to Illinois through the Cumberland Gap and new each other and intermarried along the way. During their travels they had associations with Daniel Boone and the family of Abraham Lincoln. It was no accident that Abe Lincoln settled in New Salem. | | | Michael Ratliff Lutz
 | RE: James Green Thank you for the transfer. I am related to nearly everyone named Armstrong or Green in Menard County. Maybe we should compare note some day | | | Mary Neste
 | Rachel Pederson You'r welcome! I'd like to see more of the families get matched up! Makes it so much easier to put families together for trees!! | | | Jennifer
 | RE: Andrew Allen Armstrong Hi Marilyn,
I am not related to Andrew-- his memorial was transferred to me by the person that initially created it when I forwarded additional info to them on for Andrew's wife, Alice.
Alice had been married 1st to John Nelson Shorter, but the "owner" of the Armstrong memorial did not realize that and transferred all the Armstrong memorials to me.

 | RE: Andrew Allen Armstrong Your very welcome. I would be glad to transfer him and his wife (if I have both) to you. I like for family to have them so they can add what they want. They are not my family so of course I just have what is on the headstone.Added by Ann A on Mar 26, 2013 9:34 AM | | | Kurt Johnson

 | RE: Jack Butau Since you are connected with the family, would you like me to transfer his memorial to you keeping? I would be more than happy to do so. | | | | [View all messages...] |
