I'm happy to make corrections and add information or family links to any of the memorials I've created. Please use the 'Edit' button in the upper right corner created for that purpose. In most cases I follow Find A Grave guidelines regarding transfers. Requests made that fall outside of the guidelines, or do not state relationship, are no longer being acknowledged. Justifying out-of-guideline transfer request for the sake of adding links and/or other information doesnt work. I am perfectly capable of doing this, as I do this several times daily/weekly. If you decide to not forward information or links because a transfer isn't done, then that's your decision and everyones loss.|
Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together.
Most updates, corrections and links are done within a week, many are done within minutes. If the changes arnt made in 10 days please send another msg, the e-mail gods may have eaten the first one. Guidelines do suggest a member send no more than 20 per week, but I have yet to be overwhelmed by changes. Send what you need to complete a project and I will deal with it. My objective is getting memorials, and cemeteries as accurate and complete as humanly possible.
People who have large numbers of no name cemeteries are, in my opinion, abusing the system created by Find-A-Grave. To make memorials and wait for others to spend the time adding the proper memorial then claiming yours to be a duplicate is wrong on any number of levels. If you have large numbers of no cemetery memorials be forewarned, I will not delete any memorial because of your abuse.
I will not link to burial unknown or no cemetery unless it fits the criteria set by the site:
Under the new guidelines, burial unknowns are subject to removal after 30 days.
My photos are free to use for personal uses such as books and personal web sites as long as they remain un-edited. Do Not Remove my name. I do not allow my work to be published on paid sites. If you are unsure about this please email me with your request. Some of the photos are very old digital and there is no way for me to get better quality. However, the large majority are made with professional gear. If you have a project where you need high quality photos let me know.

|Lisa Clark||My great-aunt Juliette Swanson nee Ebann|
I would like to ask if you wouldn't mind letting me take over managing my father's only maternal family's graves. My grandmother's only sister moved to California in the very early 1900s and went on to marry a man named George Swanson. They had 2 children Caroline & Charles of which neither had any offspring. I had set up their graves many years ago but didn't realize that you had them in the system too. I've had a few emails informing me of the duplicates. If you wouldn't mind I'd like to keep the management of them for the Ebann family's future research purposes. Thank you very much...Lisa

I posted a photo of my Great Grandmother's sister Ruby on your memorial page for her.
If that is a problem, let me know, and I'll remove it. Thanks for all the hard work. Ruby's mother M.A. Lewis planted the trees at the Woodville cemetery in 1887, and carried water by wagon to keep them alive.
|Gail||RE: Linking to your Ancestry|
Thank you . I do try to always ask before I just assume someone won't mind. People can be very sensitive about their departed loved ones as am I. I feel it helps some of our younger generation to really understand how important it is to remember those that went before us. I will make sure original source is also listed.

|Annie ||Hatzic Cemetery|
I am going to assume that it was you who photographed most of Hatzic. I have been there on a couple of occasions and have not had any luck finding graves that people have requested photos for. I am wondering if maybe you had a system of how you took the photos and if my search is just duplicating what you have done. There has been numerous spots where there is no headstone but because I am new to this I am not sure this would be the person I am looking for.
Do you have any hints for me?
