Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm happy to make corrections and add information or family links to any of the memorials I've created. Please use the 'Edit' button in the upper right corner created for that purpose. In most cases I follow Find A Grave guidelines regarding transfers. Requests made that fall outside of the guidelines, or do not state relationship, are no longer being acknowledged. Justifying out-of-guideline transfer request for the sake of adding links and/or other information doesnt work. I am perfectly capable of doing this, as I do this several times daily/weekly. If you decide to not forward information or links because a transfer isn't done, then that's your decision and everyones loss.

Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together.

Most updates, corrections and links are done within a week, many are done within minutes. If the changes arnt made in 10 days please send another msg, the e-mail gods may have eaten the first one. Guidelines do suggest a member send no more than 20 per week, but I have yet to be overwhelmed by changes. Send what you need to complete a project and I will deal with it. My objective is getting memorials, and cemeteries as accurate and complete as humanly possible.

No Cemetery.

People who have large numbers of no name cemeteries are, in my opinion, abusing the system created by Find-A-Grave. To make memorials and wait for others to spend the time adding the proper memorial then claiming yours to be a duplicate is wrong on any number of levels. If you have large numbers of no cemetery memorials be forewarned, I will not delete any memorial because of your abuse.

I will not link to burial unknown or no cemetery unless it fits the criteria set by the site:
Under the new guidelines, burial unknowns are subject to removal after 30 days.

My photos are free to use for personal uses such as books and personal web sites as long as they remain un-edited. Do Not Remove my name. I do not allow my work to be published on paid sites. If you are unsure about this please email me with your request. Some of the photos are very old digital and there is no way for me to get better quality. However, the large majority are made with professional gear. If you have a project where you need high quality photos let me know.

Jack Seth Warren
Hey Scott (again) ! I just happened to think that Millie and Seth had a son, but he's the only person in that family that I haven't found a name for....he might be Jack Seth Warren. The son was born in about 1903 in Barton County, Missouri... could be that he gave the info at the cemetery or death certificate.....I'm still in the process of investigating info that's out there. In the Fed Census of 1910 , Porterville, Tulare County, California , Seth Warren has three boarders living at his home , but the next page , page 5 has not been processed I'm guessing, because the rest of the family is not listed on page 4 with Seth....that's where the children's names will be found with their mother, Millie . It's a bit of a brick wall for me, but I'm still on track. BTW , Millie was my paternal grandmother's half sister...their father married again after the death of his first wife, just like Seth did.

Seth William Warren
Hey Scott ! I am currently researching the Millie Ruth Johnson Warren Family ; it has come to my attention that you have Seth William Warren listed as Jack Seth Warren in the Home of Peace Cemetery , Porterville, Tulare County, Ca. Seth had a brother named Jack , he lived in Joplin, Jasper County, Missouri when their mother , Sarah L. Beebe Warren died in Jasper County, Missouri in 1912 ....Jack and Seth are both listed as surviving sons in their mother's obituary ( Joplin Morning Tribune, November 19, 1912 ). If you will check the 1880 Fed Census, Ricks , Christian County, Ill , Seth is listed as a son ; in the 1900 Fed Census, Golden City, Barton County, Missouri, Seth is listed with his wife, Millie and their first daughter, Ella May Warren (Searle) ; in the 1910 Fed Census of Tulare County, Ca., Seth is listed as Seth William Warren for the U.S. Draft Registration in Tulare County, Ca ; his first wife, Millie died in November of 1912 leaving Seth to manage four children as well as his barber shop; Seth married his second wife, Anna M. unk Warren after the death of Millie....still on the search for this information. I don't know how to provide you with any more viable information on Seth, other than what I have given you. Thank you for all the work that you do for the Findagrave website.

Clarence & Ida Vaughan(Vaughn
Scott, thank you for getting back to me about the above. I will be most anxious when you get the photo of their headstone.
I am puzzled about you needing permission to photo the headstone. I had never heard this before now. You certainly have our permission as these were my husbands Aunt and Uncle.
Again, thank you so very much for your assistance

In regards to Clarence B Vaughan(Vaughn) and
Ida Ann Brown Vaughan(Vaughn)(Husband and Wife)
Do you, by any chance have a picture of their headstones in the above cemetery? I have added a picture of each one.
I have added some additional details on both to Find A Grave re dates-places etc of birth and death.
We have always thought that Ida's middle name was Mae. Are you sure of the "Ann"? Ida's maiden name was Brown.
Clarence B Vaughn was really Clarence B "Ike" Vaughan. Seemed the Vaughan's and Vaughn kept changing their surname spelling.
These are my husbands great Uncle and Aunt. If you would like for me to maintain them I would be happy to do so.
They had 7 children.
Thank you

Hi Scott!
I would love any information you have regarding Earl Carlton Massey (1931-1951.) My father is Jon Mark Massey. His father was Douglas Massey (brother of Earl Carlton Massey.) I believe Earl Carlton's Massey's father was also named Carlton. Earl Carlton Massey had a mother named Myrtle Parsons Massey. I know very little of my Massey side. Any help would be awesome. I just signed up for this site. I will be adding more eventually. Thank you!

Michael John Curts
Hi Scott,

Michael J. Curts was my Great grandfather's brother. He was born in King Township, York County, Ontario, on 29 Feb 1868.

Thanks for mounting the information about his grave on Find My Grave; otherwise I would not have known where he was buried. I knew he had gone to Kelowna in the early 1890's, but did know the location of his burial.
