|Got interested in this in trying to research our family tree after my Dad died and found out no one knew too much about my father's mother's side. Now I find I spend most of my spare time tromping around Western NY cemeteries, looking for my ancestors, REDDEN, GRIFFEN, WOLCOTT,KEENAN, KING, DURFEE, HAND, BROOKS, ALLEN and HARVEY. |
If I've entered someone in your family I would be glad to add info or transfer them to you. If you request a transfer please state your relationship to the deceased. And please excuse any errors I may have made and contact me for a correction. Be sure to put FAG in the subject line so I don't delete your e-mail.Hope I can help someone.

I noticed you left a note on Hannah Waterhouse's memorial, that she was a GG of your's. She is also one of mine...6th to be exact. Would you like to compare relatives?? :)

Thanks very much!
|Robert K. Boatfield, Sr||Transfer Request|
I am hoping that you will transfer this memorial for
Marjorie J. Carter Webb # 52191044
Marjorie was the Aunt to Howard John "Howie" Carter, Jr. She and Howard Sr..were brother and sister. Howard John "Howie" Carter, Jr...was my first cousin recently buried along with 3 other family members. This memorial is the last one for transfer request in this cemetery. I myself created Howard John "Howie" Carter Jr's Memorial.
This memorial will keep his family together with me to maintain if you so desire.
Howard John "Howie" Carter, Jr. ended up not only being my blood first cousin, but my Mom, his mother's sister Legally adopted Howie as her own, for his mother nor father could keep custody of him. He was raised as my "brother" not only as my cousin. All of his life, with me and my 5 sibblings...all first cousins/(sibblings)to him.
Thanks so much Marsha...I hope I haven't confused the situation LOL.....
THE HONOR and THANKS to you for your Hard work and dedication in pulling all of your memorials together so that folks like myself can CONNECT and Re-Unite family members once again.
Robert K Boatfield, Sr.

I've been working on the Hyde family that migrated from VT, and arrived at your memorial for John T. Hyde (16749573) and his wife Phebe Dike in the Abbott Cemetery in Belvidere, NY. And they've been duplicated by someone who created memorials several years after yours. I don't know whether you follow up on things like that, but am simply letting you know.
I hope you're well,

What a beautiful picture! An awesome lake in the background... couldn't be a better place for my 4 times Great Grandparents to rest. Josiah and Angeline Alford. Thanks for the wonderful shot!

I am so amazed - who knew all those years ago at old ACS we had a common ancestor??

I have been trying to get hold of you regarding the Spring family. But the email came back as a invalid address :( would like to add a memorial for my grandmother Viola Spring and for her son, my father, James Regan. It would be nice to have the Spring family connected here on Find-A-Grave with a proper write up for each.
I would very much like to trade information with you regarding the Spring family. Please reply.

Yes, he is my biological grandfather. My mother was seven when he died and was not allowed to go to the funeral out of concern for her well being. She had told me I am named after him, Norman Russell. She remembered that he lived for about 24 hours after the accident but not much else. She tried to find where he was buried much later in her life but was not so lucky. Can I assume that you have done/are doing/ the genealogy for your family?
|Adam Lowe Martin||Myra E. Lowe|
Thank you for all of the work you have done on your family tree and for sharing it.
I am the great grandson of Jessie Alida (Lowe) Persse, who I am pretty sure was Myra's sister. My Great Aunt Grace (Persse) Loveday wrote in her genealogy that Myra E. Lowe married a man named Flint and lived for a while in Bliss, New York. The 1900 US Census has her born in Jun 1888, making her about a decade younger than the Find a Grave listing. Do you have any additional info on her.
Thanks, and happy holidays. -Adam

I don't remember if I ever sent you a reply or not, but on this, the 22nd anniversary of her leaving this earth, I can only tell you how special your daughter was, and how she made the world a better place. We worked together @ Wendy's while she was at UNC-Asheville. I only knew her a short while, but she really was special...I only wish that I had gotten to know her better. A few years ago I purchased an old yearbook from her high school from ebay so to have a picture of her...and there are times that I have difficult days or can't seem to get it together, I think of her and what she would do, and somehow things just work out. I wished that I could have gotten to know her more, because she left her mark on me for the rest of my life. You raised a wonderful daughter...always remember that! If you ever need to reach me, please write...email@example.com. Take care, and Happy Belated Mother's Day!!!
