Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm happy to make corrections and add information or family links to any of the memorials I've created. Please use the 'Edit' button in the upper right corner created for that purpose. In most cases I follow Find A Grave guidelines regarding transfers. Requests made that fall outside of the guidelines, or do not state relationship, are no longer being acknowledged. Justifying out-of-guideline transfer request for the sake of adding links and/or other information doesnt work. I am perfectly capable of doing this, as I do this several times daily/weekly. If you decide to not forward information or links because a transfer isn't done, then that's your decision and everyones loss.

Virtual cemeteries are the way to "gather" your ancestors together.

Most updates, corrections and links are done within a week, many are done within minutes. If the changes arnt made in 10 days please send another msg, the e-mail gods may have eaten the first one. Guidelines do suggest a member send no more than 20 per week, but I have yet to be overwhelmed by changes. Send what you need to complete a project and I will deal with it. My objective is getting memorials, and cemeteries as accurate and complete as humanly possible.

No Cemetery.

People who have large numbers of no name cemeteries are, in my opinion, abusing the system created by Find-A-Grave. To make memorials and wait for others to spend the time adding the proper memorial then claiming yours to be a duplicate is wrong on any number of levels. If you have large numbers of no cemetery memorials be forewarned, I will not delete any memorial because of your abuse.

I will not link to burial unknown or no cemetery unless it fits the criteria set by the site:
Under the new guidelines, burial unknowns are subject to removal after 30 days.

Photography.

My photos are free to use for personal uses such as books and personal web sites as long as they remain un-edited. Do Not Remove my name. I do not allow my work to be published on paid sites. If you are unsure about this please email me with your request. Some of the photos are very old digital and there is no way for me to get better quality. However, the large majority are made with professional gear. If you have a project where you need high quality photos let me know.

Fred Ervin Sanders (1884-1917)
You mentioned you had more information concerning Fred Ervin Sanders, son of Eliakin Andrew and Mary Ann Riker Sanders. I am writing to see if you have more information on the Riker line, Mary Ann is a sister of my great grandmother. Thanks for checking. Karen D (karensroots@yahoo.com)

RE: Aberdeen Cemetery
Okay, I've added all of the photos I have -- I did the entire cemetery, row by row. It's possible I may have missed a section -- here are a lot of plots without photos still. Some may not be marked, or their markers have disappeared over time. But there are quite a number around plot 300 to 320 that don't have pictures, which suggests to me that I missed a section. :-(

Anyhow, I'm done with it for now -- sorry for all the emails my changes generated!

Regards,
dianthus120

Aberdeen Cemetery
Hi Scott,
The rain stopped, the sun came out, and I spent a nice afternoon at the Aberdeen Cemetery in Aldergrove/Abbotsford taking photos. You've created most of the memorials for this cemetery, and probably have photos somewhere that you haven't had time to upload -- I hope you don't mind that I've been adding my photos to the memorials... Please let me know if it is a problem at all.
Regards,
dianthus120

Thank you Scott. I felt fairly sure she had died there, as his obit said she survived him. I appreciate the efforts you've made on behalf of their memory. Have a blessed weekend!
