I am a retired Firefighter. Served four years with the U S Navy, 12 years with the Air National Guard.|
I like finding old cemeteries. Small cemeteries I take pictures of all marked graves.
Most of the memorials I have posted are not related to me. If you see a family member, let me know and I will transfer them to you.
Anyone may use the pictures I take for there family tree.

Yes, you may use any of the pictures from the cemetery that you would like for your family history. Also, other individuals might be buried in this cemetery with no headstone or marker.

I see you were able to locate my great grandma Martha Florence Wolfe Spencers grave, my grandma Thelma O Smith Spencer was buried next to her but I cannot find her, I was 13 when she pasted, my mom searched up til her death and was unable to find either, anyway of locating her? I am 56 and my years are numbered and would like to find these graves so can mark them and show the younger generation where they are, I don't want them forgotten, also I keep losing my grandfather, I find him try to mark grave go back and it is gone, gettin little old to get on knees tryin to dig him up again (not literally) also I have my great Aunt Eupha Smith Spencers name plate whats left of it am going to try and repair it, but she is buried next to her husband Orville Glen Spencer, my Grandpa was Okey Clifford Spencer Sr, any help would be appreciated I live in Upshur and really hard traveling and digging through dirt trying to find these graves, also my little uncle or baby uncle is buried at foot of my sister who passed at 6 months Linda Lou Good it is a make shift head stone and at foot or head is a tree stump on the other side of tree stump Herald Spencer is buried he was really little or still born just not sure. Thanks Bob for bringing Pearl Summers Whitlock home to her family. I appreciate it. You should be given a medal for preserving diminishing WV cemeteries. I wish you lived in McDowell Co. Cemeteries there are disappearing to the underbrush and vandals.
