Bio and Links
Bio Photo The day I found Find a Grave, I was on a grave hunting trip to Pennsylvania, dragging my long-suffering husband, John, with me while I took hundreds of digital photos of family graves! I also have a shoebox sized file box of "analog" photos, as well as records of other burials in places I have never visited! Since then, I have uploaded all my new photos and scanned most of my old ones! It's been a labor of love. Occasionally, I still find entries I've made that contain a note saying I plan to scan and upload a photo at a later time, if you see one of these, please drop me a note reminding me to do so. Obviously I have missed it.

I have been working on my family history since 1996, and most of my contributions are my own dead relatives, but I've always loved cemeteries, and sometimes I think my obsession with genealogy is just an excuse to walk thru old graveyards!

I also have (or can scan) better copies of most of the grave photographs that I have posted here. Please email me if you would like me to send you a larger copy!

I'm also on Twitter & Facebook now if anyone is interested!

Also feel free to contact me with corrections or additions to the info I've posted or to request transfers of your relatives memorials. I have recently changed the email address that I use for Find a Grave due to problems with AOL blocking the notifications from this site. You can contact me at my gmail account, or at my AOL address:

I'm really loving the new correction options and I try to check several times a week for new edits!

Don't be afraid to ask for transfers of any of your family graves I might have entered. My personal policy is much more liberal than the official Find a Grave policy. Generally, I'll transfer anyone who is not a close relative to me!

RE: Permission to use your photos

I always give credit to the photographer and when I use the pictures. I really want more people to know about findagrave because I only found out about the site a little over a year ago. I have only created 4 memorials but I really love to link family's together, read their bios and leave flowers for them.

Thanks again for sharing your pictures with me and my family.

Thomas Hayes Wilson
Cherie, would you know if there is a grave marker in Bethel Park Cemetery for Thomas Hayes Wilson? I believe after much research that Thomas (my GGG grandfather) is buried here. He was born Dec. 15, 1790, and died Nov. 14, 1839, with burial listed as Nov. 29, 1839. Thanks!!

Jennifer Piller
The family of baby Jennifer will always be in my thoughts and prayers. As a devoted follower of Jesus as my Savior from the Lutheran faith, I take comfort in the fact that Jennifer is now with the same Lord Jesus that she is giving praise and glory in His Father's kingdom right now as I speak. Jennifer is celebrating the holidays up there while she is partaking in all the heavenly treasures that no worldly Christmas present on this earth will possibly match.

RE: Jennie Chase marriage?
Hi, a few months ago I sent you a message regarding Jennie Chase's marriage to a Joseph Chase. I found her daughter Birdie's death certificate here:

it lists her father's last name as Sample. I don't know if this would be any help to, but I thought it would be an interesting find to share.

hi again-

quick question on Isaac-the page noted death date as the 16th but it looks like the headstone states the 15th-
