I love genealogy. I love the old letters, stories, photos and cemeteries. I have been doing family research since 1999. |
My families include Conner, Shields, Lambert, Yates, Kiger, Goforth, Wright, Henderson, Peoples, Shaw, Spratt, plus many others. The California Counties of Butte,Colusa,Glenn, Mendocino, Modoc, Tehama, and others.
States of California,Idaho,Iowa,Kentucky,Maine,Missouri and Ohio and others.
All of my entries are related to me in some way. I'm adding our precious little pets and also some of my friends...
~I appreciate everyone who has left flowers for my loved ones. God bless you all and stay in touch...
...I love photos but PLEASE ASK ME FIRST BEFORE ADDING A PHOTO TO ANY OF MY MEMORIALS...THANK YOU....

|R. Jeanne Moran||Emaline Connor Cahill|
Since Emaline was known nearly all of her life as Emma, died as Emma, and is etched in stone as Emma, would you consider leaving her name on Find A Grave as Emma Connor Cahill and making a note in your text to indicate that her proper name was Emaline? If someone is looking for her on Find A Grave, they will be looking for Emma Cahill, not Emaline. The same purpose is served by indicating her birth name in the text.

Looks like Sabrina English put the picture on - maybe she can get it off some way.
Are you related to Alanson Bush. I am and was wondering if you have any family information..

I just read your request to ask first before adding photos. I added a couple to Ella Lee's memorial page before I saw that - sorry! You can delete them if you want to. I used PhotoShop to correct the perspective in the photo of your framed portrait on the wall and clean up the spots and I added one of her when she was young that we both love (which probably came from you!). By the way, her bio needs some minor updating. It mentions Monroe Co., Missouri and we had more recently discovered that that was the wrong family. Our Lees were never in Monroe - only in Howard Co. and Saline Co., MO. They came to Missouri from Patrick Co., VA in 1819 (or so) and left in 1845.

Hi. I think I got you mixed up with one of the other Goforth relations. I apologize. I am related to the Goforth family via the Purcell's. My 3x Great Grandmother was Laura Purcell, sister of George Purcell.
Hi Dave. I am looking for the Goforth family. Your Grandmother was Harriet Josephine (Purcell) correct? Please, feel free to email me at email@example.com and I will explain further.
Thank you for posting. I will do some more research. Sadly, I have had this bit of info for a long time with no documentation. I will need to check back in my hard copy. I hesitated posting what I had without the necessary documentation but I am glad I did. It opened a way for contact. I belong to a FB group called Lambert Lines. You need to check us out. Most of us east of the Mississippi but are connected to many who went west.
A relative of mine, I have him as having died in Mendocino Co.
