Maryan Brothers Clark
I was wondering if I could copy of one of your images you took and posted on, for my genealogy file. The image are of the headstone Maryan Brothers Clark. Her husband, Howard Clark is my is my fifth cousin. Our common ancestors are John Harrison Sarah Lovell who emigrated from Yorkshire to Nova Scotia in 1774. With your permission, I would also like to post it on my genealogy FB page: "John Harrison Sarah Lovell" with the notation: Source: bookworm98 at I am not asking that you transfer the memorials! Thanks! Randy Harrison, Truro Nova Scotia, Canada

RE: Emery A Gibson FAG# 82415336
Howdy there!
I've been working the family connections on Ancestry for a friend.

Found Edith May Simmons with parents, Jessie M. Simmons and Lucy P. Simmons (Thomas) in 1910 census

Parents match on Social Security Application for Edith Gibson with same birth and death dates

Can not locate marriage record for Emery A Gibson and Edith Simmons

Several City Directories with Emery and Edith.

Social Security Applications
Daughter, Lucy Lee Gibson, b 1925 d 1999 documents parents as noted above
Son, Robert Emery Gibson, b 1928 d 1987 documents parents as noted above.
Hope this provides enough info for your records.

RE: James S Arthur FAG#138407923
You have a good eye for detail!

This was something that My mother and I discussed at length - James Stephenson Arthur Jr. and Sr. were here grandfather and great-grandfather. We don't know why that was such a popular middle name in the family - there were no Stephensons or Stephen(s) surnames that we know of.

No typo.

There is some uncertainty within the family about the correct spelling for the older James Stephenson's (who did not have birth certificates that we can check); however, the spellings that I've given are what we believe are correct. In the particular case that you asked about, it has a "v" as I indicated.
