Bio and Links
Bio Photo A native of Louisville, Kentucky, I've lived for the last fifteen years in the historic Licking Riverside neighborhood of Covington directly across the Ohio River from Cincinnati, and have been pursuing my ancestry since 1983. A sense of urgency came over me a couple of years ago when I witnessed the effects of climate and vandalism on the grave sites of some of my ancestors in Kentucky, which were now crumbling stone where carved gravemarkers once stood. I had assumed naïvely they would always be there for me to visit without concern and regretted I hadn't photographed them in their prime. An occurrence such as Superstorm Sandy (Oct. 29, 2012) further demonstrates the temporal nature of these stone testaments to our antecedents. Witness the damage around some of the gravestones of my great-grandmother Fausta May Rogers's ancestors in the Presbyterian churchyard at Westfield, New Jersey, particularly those of Samuel Roberson (1721-1778), his wife Hannah Crane (1725-1803), and his parents John (1690-1740) and Mary Roberson (1690-1763). They escaped being damaged by just inches. I appreciate all the assistance from the other contributors at Find A Grave. Thanks for all you do.

Is he part of your line. This one is in Calhoun GA. Just saw the name in a Homestead property book for that area. I scanned the name and map.

Thank you and looking for info on Catharine Farrar Schell and descendants
Hi Todd. Thank you for all you do. We are in California and it is great to be able to see these memorials online. My sister was visiting Kentucky last week and may have run into you at Evergreen although she didn't ask your name. She was checking the Catharine Farrar Schell (sec 1, lot 4), William Warren (sec 17, lot 47) and Schneider gravesites. Thank you to whomever corrected the heading from "Farra" to "Farrar". Catharine is our third great-grandmother. William is the son of Catherine by a marriage previous to our third great-grandfather Jonas Schell in 1833. If anyone has any information on Catharine's first husband, last name "Warren", I would greatly appreciate it. We have yet to find Jonas's burial information but think he had a first family in Ohio that may have all passed away in the early 1830's, perhaps from cholera. We believe Catharine had another child, Jane Warren, with her first husband and then two children with Jonas: Samuel and Hannah or Anna. Bertha Spahr and Florence Schell are the daughters of Samuel and his wife Mary. The nearby plot containing Samuel Farrar is Catharine's brother.
Any information on Catharine Farrar Schell, William Warren, Hannah or Anna Schell, Samuel Schell and any descendants would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Todd,Thank you again for finding my great grandfather and little Edith. My grandmother was too sad to speak of her so I wasn't sure of her name. You have completed the jigsaw on that side of the family and I really do appreciate it!
