Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a professional photographer and genealogist (over 50 years), and long time historian of Coleman County, Texas (over 40 years). Over 20 years ago, I, along with my wife, Judia, and Vena Bob Gates, published all of the marked grave inscriptions in Coleman County, Texas in the 3 volume, "Coleman County Cemetery Inscriptions." I also have these records online at www.colemanhistory.com.

Judia and I both continue to visit cemeteries, but I do all the computer work. Judia is an artist and does not relate to computers ... she is soooo lucky!

I have welcomed FindAGrave to help carry on what myself, my wife and others are doing to keep local history information available and not forgotten. I began in the middle of March 2011 adding burials that have not been added for Coleman County.

I look forward to hearing from anyone interested in the cemeteries and history of Coleman County. Ralph Terry, Coleman, Texas.

George Ray
Thank you, Ralph, for the photo. I followed this family after taking Maudy Lee Ray's gravestone picutre. There were five children and they are represented well on Find A Grave. I noticed they were all buried in different cemeteries. Thank you for completing the gravestone pictures. That was exciting.

Floy Riley request
Thanks for the quick turn around.
The dates on the headstone match with other records.
So it appears to be my wife's great-grandmother's sister.

Thanks a lot.

Ben and Ellen Matthews update
Ralph, Thank you for accepting the edit updates for Ben Matthews and his sister Ellen Matthews. Being a long time resident of Coleman I have no doubt you are familiar with many of my relatives. If and when you come across a Van Huss, Matthews, Blair, Stewart, and Wilkins then you probably have crossed paths with my family. Have a great day and thank you once again.
