Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started photographing picts w/film camera back in 1998.. mostly of my own ancestors but that quickly went by the wayside when my husband bought me my first digital camera, then came external hard drives, well all you "old timers" for 'Find a Grave' know the rest of the story..
I am unable to do much any more and have FINALLY started up loading my picts, very few scans, mostly digital... My folks got me interested in Genealogy back in the late 1940's but didn't get very heavily into it until the early 90's - I've worked my LEE line back to the immigrant in the mid 1600's and have most LEEs(not ALL) lines back to my 1st Generation on this side of the water, up to abt 2001... then when the grandkids were getting too old to hang at the house, I'd pack them and cameras in the car... the older ones helped w/picture taking.. now I'm down to one challenged grandson and me in w/c...
If I add a pict to your Memorial, check to see if I added note. IF I've made mistake (typos happen) in transcribing or if you don't want that extra info, PLEASE let me know and I will remove it ASAP.
I have a lot of photos from the oldest cemeteries - oldest Memorials in my home town of Cumberland, RI, which I am slowly getting onLine.. IF I post a line you are chasing, let me know and I will willingly/gladly transfer management.

I have met, be it in person or onLine, in my past searching travels (in the LEE, PECK & CARPENTER Genealogy lines & cemetery photos), you know who you are.. Thank you....

A lot of my picts have extended into MA and I would love to thank "Massachusetts Vital Records Project" ( is Free onLine) by compilers of "Arnold Book" & translated into computer language by John Slaughter and his helpers along the way.. for allowing me to add VR info to some pages.. great work John for doing all that you have done!!

I do try to answer SAC's promptly - IF I haven't done your request or inquiry within 2 wks, DO please remind me...

When I send you Locations of certain graves, please add to the page you have put up - IT IS NOT FOR MY BENEFIT BUT FOR THOSE WHO COME LATER.. I already know where these people are, Let's PLEASE help those who follow us...

Must give credit where credit is due:

Dear Ancestor

Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn

You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh and blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own

Dear Ancestor. the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder how you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you.

add veteran
Carol add my uncle to your list who was buried there in June. He was Fred Kampfhenkel U.S. Navy. It may take a while before there is a marker.

Just thinking....Wouldn't it be nice if findagrave had an U. S. flag icon that could be added to Veterans memorials the way flowers show up in the index. I like to honor the veterans too whenever I can.

Hello Carolyn -
I noticed that it appeared that you have two for the same memorial :

Thought you might want to combine them.
Thank you,

The Lee Family
Hello Carolyn -
You mentioned that you traced your family quite a ways back.... I, too, am a Lee, though I believe mine showed up in the States in the very early 1800. My family pretty much stayed in NYC - what about you?

No, not related. Just happened to spot the maiden name while looking for something else.

Have a great weekend and thank you for your dedication to Find A Grave!

Many thanks for the Stetson transfers. This will be a difficult family to research due to ages and scant records available, but I'll see what I can find! Linda

Stetsons at Mineral Springs
Carolyn...I would gladly accept "the rest of the Stetsons" you have listed at Mineral Springs if you would prefer to transfer them. I can research them and see what I can find. Salisburys would be outside my area of research and no need for me to work with them.
Again, thanks for all your contributions! Linda

Lurana & Sarah Stetson
Have been trying to get back to you but Find A Grave site has been down for 3 days and some functions still aren't working; am trying to play catch-up. I am not related directly to these Stetson or Salisbury's but am a researcher with the Stetson Kindred trying to update our descendent files. Many thanks for the transfers and you conscientious work! Linda
