Col Abraham Winsor Lot
Thank you so so so much for finding and photographing the Winsor graves there. So many have just been a general picture of the cemetery for so long. I wondered if the stones were under the grass or something. Was that the case? Wow wow wow! Thanks Again...especially for transcribing them too. That is essential with these old stones and not everybody does it.

RE: Delia Hidden
Hi Katie Beth,

Just wanted to let you know that I was able to buy that photo of Delia Leeman that you notified me about on Ebay, and I just received it in the mail today. Thanks again for notifying me about it. It's nice when photos return to their family.

RE: Delia Hidden
Hi Katie Beth,

Sorry to have taken so long to get back to you. I hadn't noticed I had mail. I wish I had, as I wasn't able to catch the ad for Delia Hidden's photograph on Ebay. I'm disapointed as I was hoping to find if it was an unknown relative selling it. Thanks for contacting me though and alerting me. I'm sure you probably don't remember the name of the person. Was it the same photo that I posted on Delia's profile? Please let me know. I'm curious if there are others floating around.

Oh wait! I tried it again and I found it!! She looks older and somewhat chunkier, which I can relate to. I'll get back to you! Thanks so much.

KatieBeth, Regarding the photos posted on Francis Kayton Hookstra and Henry Hookstra's sites in Butler County, Nebraska, I have the same photos in my family collection and on the back of mine it says they are Michael David & Minerva Kayton. Michael David was Francis Hookstra's brother. Of course, whoever wrote that on the back of my photo could have been wrong so I'm wondering what the source of your photo information is. Thanks for your info. Yvonne Hollenbeck

P.S. I have quite a few photos of Francis and Henry Hookstra that I would be glad to share with you if you'd like.

RE: George Sonne
Thank you so much for taking the time to tell me about the picture of George Sonne. I am only related to him through his marriage to Audrey Crow. Hopefully one of his closer relatives will see it and be able to get it.

RE: John Miller Spencer
Hi Katie,

Sorry, I am not a decendent of Mr. Spencer. There is a woman that I am sometimes in contact with who is transcribing headstones for the East Greenwich Cemetery where Mr. Spencer is buried. I try to get out there when I can to take photo's for the find a grave website. This way the information will be there if one day someone is looking for a relative they will find some information. Sounds like you are doing the same. What a nice thing you did by picking up these photographs and posting the pictures. Good luck to you and your research/find a grave work.

Highland Cemetery
That man is nuts. But then, so many people nowadays are. The fact is, dead people have no "rights" and they have no "privacy" left. He is just on a power trip, making up rules and trying to enforce them...the way our whole culture is evolving. So many people love to try to boss people around and bully them..makes them feel important, in their worthless, useless life. I would love to call that man. Then I will call the cemetery association. Then I will call the state agency that regulates cemeteries. The last time I encountered some jerk at a cemetery behaving like that, I got him fired. It turns out he was actually selling photos of graves on the side and pocketing the money. One question...I have several Find A Grave requests being worked on...which person are you referring to, as being buried in Highland?

RE: Highland Memorial
Thank you for trying. Apparently, the caretaker got up on the wrong side of the world. I would be glad to give him a call.
