|I've been researching my family roots since the fall of 1999. I got my start because of a Social Studies project given to my son when he was in 6th grade. It was a year long school project, the students were to trace their family lines back to the immigrant and present their results in a 3 ring binder. Well needless to say I was hooked helping my son write letters to family members asking for help and documents to verify the info. Helping him to get BMD certs for family members from all over. Going to visit the cemeteries here in Pennsylvania to get pics of gravestones for my husband's family lines. Unfortunately, my family lines are all out in Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio. I didn't find this site in time for his project, but I am hooked on genealogy & that is how I finally got hooked here and feel as though I can't expect folks out in the midwest to take pics for me if I don't take pics of gravestones here in my local area.|
I have transcribed & taken pics for 3 small cemeteries in the area. I am working on taking the photos in a few other larger ones here in the Mechanicsburg area.

You sent me a correction making her maiden name Guiney. I put it to Clark as in the obituary and the Death Certificate. Her mother's maiden name was Guiney.

I'm sitting on your corrections until tomorrow when I hope to augment the entries.

The cemetery generally releases plot information only to family members. If you call them at the number given on the cemetery's home page, tell them you're planning a visit and would like to know the location of the grave. Alternately, since the burials were fairly recent, you may know enough to describe the location. Come spring, we will try to locate the Ludwicks. Thanks. Sandi
Thanks for all the transfers! Kit

Brandywine Manor & Forks of the Brandywine are one and the same: https://archive.org/details/historyofpresbyt00mclu
go to above web site. Look at the notation across the top and look at the first page of the booklet where it says Forks of the Brandywine (Brandywine Manor).
You can flip through the book as well to see if any of your people are mentioned.

Notice on her obit, there is a mention of Honey Brook Presbyterian Church. That is NOT Forks of the Brandywine Presbyterian- that's two different churches. Just don't want you to get them confused.

Thank you so very much! I greatly appreciate it and will take very good care of them.
Have a look at Elwood, too. Way too much to transcribe.

I hope you got all the obits I sent and that you'll add them to each entry. Let me know who I missed and I can check it out on another visit next week. You'll also notice I added a few you didn't have and transferred them to your care.
