Thanks for your suggestion about changing the death date to May 1 instead of May 3. Do you have any personal knowledge about this? Several family histories mention it as May 3 and May 4 but Lee County Virginia Death Register 1853-1877 lists it as May 3 and it is NOT the original monument but a replacement one. My grandmother's had 1899 on hers and noone questioned it although her first child was born 1908 until I started my research and changed it to 1889. Let me know if you have personal knowledge about the Death Register and I will be glad to change it. I just want to be correct.Added by Wamplerg on Nov 07, 2011 6:34 PM | |

I can not make changes or add information to someone elses memorials. I sent a message to Find-A-Grave contributor Sara E and requested she make the changes for Woodrow and Sylvia Helm. If she doesn't make the requested changes within 28 days, I'll send it the F.A.G. Admin and they will take care of it. That is their current policy for this type of situation. | |
