RE: Mountain View Cemetery
I got a look at the data that will be release from mountain view and is is not clean. From a the photos I looked at many are not linked to the right person. They link photos per grave plot. The problem is that each grave plot may have multiple individuals.

For example

Shares the same plot with :

All three of these people share the same photo.

Ah yes. I have seen the request process. Islandgirl is the one who did 1919 section.

I can more easily discuss, and follow discussion this via e-mail as I can add photos and text editing.

I would like to discuss more about problems with the request process and changes that will soon happen, when more available data comes from Mountain View Cemetery

Mountain View Cemetery

I am working on taking photos of mountain view cemetery. I would like to work together with you if you are still taking photos. I am taking all photos of the whole cemetery by section. If you are interested I would like to know if you have already take photos of a complete section.

Here is the map of where I have already take photos in blue.
Send me an e-mail if you would like to coordinate.

RE: McCargar
Please don't remove her from the request. I will look for her again it's a huge cemetary. She may be in a different section

I was searching the groton rural cemetary for Catherine Boyd McCarver unfortunately many of the stones are no longer legible. I couldn't find Catherine however I did find Thomas McCargar b.1828 d. 1897? With Lucy J. B. 1828 d. 1907. Another stone with Charles R. BOWER B. 1864 D. 1919 WITH EMMA J. MCCARGAR B. 1866 D. 1950. AND ANOTHER MUCH MORE DIFFICULT TO READ STONE WHICH READS DIED IN TARRIFVILLE MARY & L.G. MCCARGAR
if you send requests for these I can get you pictures of the stones

Thanks for the photo, I now have doubts to whether he is our relative because of "lest we forget" on the grave marker as he was 89 in 1942.

Thanks so much for the photo it means a lot I had no idea there was a military reference on the stone that's given me something to explore further
