thanks for the correction on Don Westfall. I did as you suggested and put my photos on the other page and deleted mine because it was a duplicate. Thanks again.

You are very welcome.

Hi, Dennis! The date of death is wrong on the memorial for Thomas Garwood (#70258391), and it needs to be changed or removed. The date you have (14 December 1772) is for a different Thomas Garwood who died in Burlington County, was a member of the Evesham Meeting, and he predeceased his wife.
You also own a memorial for a Thomas Garwood who died in 1772 in Burlington County (#68941874), so #70258391 appears to be intended for the Thomas Garwood who died in Gloucester County, whose wife predeceased him, and they were members of the Egg Harbor Meeting. This Thomas is a 6th-great grandfather, and I haven't proved when he died, but some discussion lists and family trees say that he died in June 1796.
Have a blessed day!

In looking at Abraham's memorial, I see that you have my 2x gr-grandmother Stromanda (known mostly as Manda or Mandy) listed as Stramanda and as having been born in 1838. Her actual birthdate (Packer family Bible...she married John Packer August 23 1860 in Shiremanstown by REv Jacob G. Kirtis) was Oct 23 1837. I have the Bible, but you can also find that date on her Pennsylvania death certificate. She died May 28 1921 at home on 2321 Herr Street in Penbrook. She is buried in East Harrisburg Cemetery with the name Manda Packer on her tombstone.
Also Henry was born in 1844...which shows clearly on his tombstone.

I was reviewing my findagrave inbox. There was this old message about Sallie Burton from Dennis Peterson that neither you nor I have done anything about. Please do create a memorial for Sallie Burton, because you know the Traughber family better than I.
I however am very familiar with the Traughber monument, because it is next to Mama and Daddys. We lost Daddy 5 months ago in September. Late summer someone left a floral arrangement at the Traughber monument and I have enjoyed seeing it there when visiting Mama and Daddy.

I read your Bio information on my 2xgreat grandfather, Thomas S Brooks, 1842-1902, buried in th Ebenezer Cemetery, in Nevada Cty, Ark. Its very detailed and has information that I did not know. I wonder where you got the information for his father and mother Josiah Wright Brooks, and Martha Barding? I thought his parents was William Brooks and Susanna Meredith. Do you have information that confirms Josiah Wright Brooks and Martha Barding as his real parents??? Very interested...Debbie
|Chris Coleman||Agnes Barnes|
Agnes Barnes born 13 April 1881 Kentucky and died 9 December 1961, is not the daughter of Willaim F Westfall.
In the 1900 Census she as listed as a Step Daughter.
She is the daughter of Fannie C Green, wife of William.

Thanks for adding the photo of the Lone Tree Cemetery. It makes the Find A Grave record more complete.
|Sue Steward||RE: John W Brooks|
Dennis, I see from the bio on William that you say his stepmother died in 1898, I am wondering what your source of info on that was. Jane Mitchell Brooks is my great grandmother and I have not been able to find any info on her death, although in the 1900 census John W. Brooks was listed as widower so know she must have died between 1889 and 1900.
I forgot to mention in my earlier message, I got that headstone photo from Cliff Brooks, I did not take it.
