As an amateur cemetery photographer - I wonder about the lives of those who once lived; who they were; what they did; for me - it's my way to remember people. Most of cemeteries that I've worked-on at Find-A-Grave, are also available on YouTube|

Yes that is the cemetery. I believe I found the picture of it already- the name is unreadable though. Do you know where I could find more info on this person? (My grandfather)
Thank you for this site and all the work that goes into it.

I would appreicate if you could add a photo of the marker.
|Alfhard||William P Hillhouse|
I have sent some additional information regarding William P Hillhouse to Memorial #136070434. Please note, there is a duplication of the person with #136070435. It appears that there are two grave markers for the same person in the graveyard, one of them a military grave stone.

I have started doing family research recently. I am trying to find any information out on Robert Millar and his wife, Elizabeth Ralston. They are my 3 times great grandparents. I know that they are in the Dunkerley Congregational Cemetery. Through find a grave I found there son William Hunter Millar. On his death certificate it said his parents were born in Scotland. I am looking for any information as to where in Scotland they may have come from. If you know of a place I could get that information, I would be very interested in doing more research. Thank you, Darlene Dalgleish

Big thanks for transferring our Sutherlands! And yes, I'd love a higher-res photo. You may reach me at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
As for any famous Sutherlands, I expect not; far enough back, however, we're all related somehow. Your area of Canada is a very interesting melting pot--both sides of our immediate family (very old French Canadian and very new Scots) lived there at overlapping times but in almost completely different worlds. Fascinating.
Thanks again for your help! I look forward to the photos.

Thank you so much for creating memorials to the Sutherland family buried at Dunkerley Congregational Cemetery! I am hoping you would consider transferring my GGG Grandfather William Sutherland and his wife, my GGG Grandmother Margaret McNaughton Sutherland to me, as well as the memorials for their children included on their monument. With the exception of the older Donald Sutherland (d.1847) monument at Dunkerley, they are all our family. I'm not aware of any other family who would ask for their transfers.
I very much appreciate your consideration, as I am working to update and link all of our Sutherland family across the continent. I will submit transfer requests for each person via their individual memorials.
Again, thank you for considering.
I have another request: is it possible to get a higher resolution image of the inscriptions on the monument? I cannot make out William's b/d dates from the image, though he recorded in the family bible that he was born August of 1805 in Dornoch, Scotland. I would so appreciate a clearer image of that stone. Also, is it possible that there are other inscriptions on the monument or other Sutherland monuments nearby? I ask because William & Margaret had a baby Sutherland (1832-1832), a Donald Sutherland (1837-1843), and a Catherine Ellen Sutherland (1849-1865) whose graves I've not yet been able to locate.
Again, thank you so very much for all your help!

Hello again! Thank you so much for transferring the Montgomery clan to me. Now I am requesting Samuel Ployart - 104290095 and his wife Margaret Montgomery 104290096.
I thought you may be interested that Margaret's father William Montgomery donated the land for St. Paul's Church - he donated the land in 1842 but he passed away before the church was built in 1871.

Thank you very much for sending Jane Graham to me so quickly - very much appreciated. Now, I hope you would transfer William Montgomery and his daughter, Ann Montgomery White to me - they are in Kirkdale - Wm is 10579654 and Ann is 105796423. While you are at it - her husband is William White - #105796421. It is wonderful to be linking all these family members - and seeing your wonderful photos of their headstones.
