I was born and raised in Enumclaw, Wabash District, King County, Washington and graduated from Enumclaw High School with the Class of 1955. I first got interested in Geneology in 1957 when I was just 20 years old and have never lost interest.|
I am most interested in managing the memorials for my grandparents, their ancestors, and their descendants. My personal goal is to make these memorials as complete as possible. I do also manage some memorials for an Acquaintance, Family Friends, Classmates, and some Enumclaw Teachers. I do not collect memorials of people that I don't personally know, or at least know of.
On all the memorials that I manage, I try to give a little extra information by adding the U.S. Census Records during that persons lifetime. If you find census records that I missed I would appreciate it if you would contact me with that information. It's always a "Project in Work". I do not add obituaries to the Find A Grave memorials, but I do include them in my Family Tree on Ancestry.com.
If you find a "Photo" or "Census Record" that you would like to have that I have posted on one of the memorials that I manage you are more than welcome to use them in any way you wish. My purpose is not to claim "OWNERSHIP" of anything, but to make as much available for Family, Friends and Genealogy Researchers as I can. None of us can be everywhere so "Helping Each Other" is the only way to meet our individual goals.
I have a family tree on "Ancestry.com" where I try to record all the information on my relatives and ancestors. Please check it out on the "Byron D. Lawrence Family Tree".
If you are looking for more information on the people listed in my "Virtual Cemeteries" ~ check out the following. On each of the two trees listed below I have tried to limit the information gathered to three generations, the individual and their siblings, their parents, and the individuals children. I listed no grandparents, no nephews or nieces, I did it this way so that I could work off all the "Hints" from Ancestry.

Note: I have not tried to do a Family Tree for the "Enumclaw Dance Friends". This is just for the Find A Grave memorials for all the friends that I have made over the years of dancing. Their memory is important to me.

You are welcome. Glad to be of assistance. Are you interested in a transfer to you of his wife, Vivian? I entered a memorial for her when posting the photo.

Hi Byron, I looked for Ruth Brown's marker in the Hibbing Maple Hill Cemetery yesterday. She is buried in the Hargrave Marble family plot according to cemetery records. Lot 2 Plot 371-3. There is no marker specifically for her. I added the family marker to her Find A Grave memorial, and I also added William and Jennie's individual markers to their memorials. Barb

Just thought I'd let you know that I was over at Sunset Hills this afternoon and they are obviously getting ready to place a stone below William Symonds stone. I obviously don't know for sure, but I'm guessing that it's going to be Robert. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for your reply Byron. I did find the Beck/Dacus family tree. When I used search function to find Raymond and Attie within the tree I discovered they're not linked to anyone in the main tree, so appears to be a very distant connection. I do see middle name of Raymond's father was Edward, with signature on his draft card, but unfortunately the records cited do not show Raymond's middle name or Attie's place of death, so will pass on adding those for now. I do appreciate your input and nice to meet another long time researcher - 38 yrs. for me and still love it. Take care and batten down the hatches today :)

Hi Byron - I processed part of your edits, but I was unable to locate Raymond's middle name Edward in any source. Where did you find it or maybe you knew him? Also need to know where you came across Attie's place of death? Her obit. says she resided in Vancouver, but it doesn't say she died there. Social Security has "last known residence" or last "contact location" as Vancouver, but again that does not mean she died in WA. Often folks who live in Vancouver and surrounding communities end up passing away in Portland area. Please let me know so I can process your last two edits. Thanks.
