From Find A Grave FAQ:|
" In regard to duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location. If a case of duplicate memorials falls to the Administration, the Administration will have the final word on which memorial is deleted and which data will be retained in the remaining memorial page."
*****Missouri death certificates are online for the current years 1910-1964. They do not need to be posted on here, or links added to them, unless they are hard to find, as the name is different, etc. Please? It takes up space for other photos.
***Please do not put information on flowers? I will add anything you want in a very timely manner, so there is no need to do that. Please?
**You have my permission to use my photos as you please.
When asking for transfers, please include your relationship. If no relationship is included, it won't happen. Send transfer requests and information by the edit tab at the top right of the memorial only. Also, please make sure you are going to stick with this after getting a transfer? I have transferred to a lot of people who do nothing with them and do not keep them up. If you decide find a grave isn't for you, please transfer them back to me, or to someone who will take care of them.
***** I am sorry, but I will not post full obituaries any longer unless they are from way back and public and I need the source listed too.
***Per Find A Grave FAQ:
Never apply bleach, ammonia, shaving cream, chalk, flour, baking soda, cornstarch, firm pressure or use anything abrasive. Do not post photos of recently chalked or shaving-creamed headstones.
It seems I have lost a half a dozen photos for Memorial Park in Sedalia. I haven't a clue what happened to them and I know I had them. But they are gone. Names, Byler, Hodges and Neff. I am so sorry!
I just want to say that I don't always take the best photos and if someone feels theirs is better, please post it. It won't hurt my feelings! :-)
I will not delete my memorials when someone makes a burial unknown, or plops them into another cemetery and then finds my memorial and changes their BU or plopped memorial's location. Mine is not the duplicate, no matter when your BU was made. I always check carefully to make sure someone isn't already listed in the cemetery.(See at top) if a duplicate memorial is found, for example, if you move your BU to a cemetery where you found mine, I will send both to edit and they will fix this. They can see what you have done.
My dear Mom left this earth to be with Jesus 13 years ago. I miss her so much! Velma Joyce King Gilbert and please check out my Grandmas Pearl Story. It is a true story and I love it!

I'd be happy to do so, Diana. Can you give me the memorial #? Thanks.

I agree. It is very frustrating to transfer memorials after which they are basically stay unchanged, and like you say, often edits are ignored. It doesn't matter about your stipulations once they are in the hand of the receiver. It really does make you have reservations about transferring, especially out of FindAGrave guidelines. You & I usually do a better job of honoring them than most recipients.

I think the mother and father are right. the DC says Ann Murry, most likely went by Ann not Mary Ann. At any rate I didnt connect them and thanks. Mike, stay cool.

Thanks a bunch Diana...for this and for all your help!
I got your edits for Josephine McCurdy, after I had already made a few when I looked up her obit lol. According to billiongraves, there is a Josephine McCurdy buried in Houstonia, "Josephine Hanley McCurdy - Born Jan. 6, 1901, died Feb. 8, 1985". I think Coleah just has her maiden name wrong, and has her linked to the wrong parents?
